  Any strategies to deal with elders who just don't like you?

  so any ways to deal or cope with elders who just don't like you (you didn't do anything wrong or they're just making stuff up about you) assuming that you can't leave?

  especially when it comes to for example becoming appointed as an elder.

  or are you pretty much "dead in the water" if the elders are determined to like you despite reasonable efforts to win them over.

  KNEE THEM IN THE BOLLOCKS.......WORKED FOR ME

  .....or you could try threatening them with a law suit.....then they would have to drop everything and phone the legal department who will tell them not to admit to anything.

  Who Appoints the Elders, BOE's, CO's or Holy Spirit?

  first it was the holy spirit that appointed elders, then they began abusing children, so then they had to say its the body of elders that appoint elders.

  then they abuse even more children and now they are claiming its the co's fault.

  who actually does appoint the elders and ministerial servants?

  This is exactly what I mean.......they tell you something and they say its "the truth" and then further down the line they change something and then tell you THATS "the truth" so in other words their previous thinking was a lie. So why call themselves "the Truth"?

  sorry....this of course is a complete lie, but there's bound to be some new light this next year.

  "new light" as in changing what was advertisied to be "the truth" to amending "the truth" about a scriptural matter.....or in other words, the previous thinking was a lie and not "the truth" afterall..
