  The issue is not as concrete as 1+1. If you wan't math to be your truth, fine. But in the end you will get to the realization that all things are relative as there simply is no universal constant, only generalizations. Take the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle as an example. The Uncertainty principle is like a postcard from a practical joking god. The truth is that the truth is elusive. Explaining it is like describing "blue" to a man born blind. I guess you could just say somewhere in the ballpark of 600 trillion hertz and let him ponder that. Close enough, right?

  i remember having a few, jw scare tactics must have inbedded themselves into me.

  i remember one.

  i was downstairs in my front room when all of a sudden the ground started to rumble and the sky turned from pitch black to red.

  A lot of witness children have nightmares about demons. As a young child I would have nightmares where they were suffocating me, and I could not call out to Jehovah for help. Later I found many other children had similar dreams. In retrospect it is because the Watchtower org says that Demons are real and interact constantly with humanity. We were taught to turn the light on to dispell them (Odd how soem powerful multidimensional spirit warrior can be dispelled via a GE 40 Watt Softwhite, but no matter).

  I can see how the children at the Salem Witchtrials might have really beleived they were having spells cast on them. When you teach people this load of garbage it trully afects them, even physically.

  Clearly the grapes which made the wine that Lot imbibed came from a vine which was not too far removed in generations from the original grape vines which were in the garden of eden, or which hitchhiked as seeds on the ark, anyway. Anyway these were almost perfect grapes. So of course they could live a long time, AND they had the power to make men drunk by drinking just a little, and affected men of old in ways we do not understand now. They caused Lot to impregnate both his daughters, and Noah to shake his antediluvian booty before Canaan. For all we know Prince Absalom may have had some of this wine before encourageing his sister Tamar to make heart-shaped cakes and wear a thong bikini and pasties for him.

  what are some of the foods you remember being served at district and circuit assemblies.

  i remember every sunday was roast chicken.

  also i remember them serving knockwurst and saurkraut.

  Joureles.. dayum you brought back some meories. I never could figure out the frozen OJ.

  I liked the Cheese danishes in the morning. The pizza was "consumable" when they had it. Burritos were good but I only remember having them one year. As always there were shastas. And cups of pudding, chocolate or vanilla.
