i have been on this site lurking for over 2 years and this is my first post, i feel so bottled with emotion that i have to let it out somehow so i do not have an emotional breakdown!

i was raised in the organization and am married with 2 children ages 4 and 2. my wife and i have been inactive for about 2 years and i have always had hard questions that were never answered growing up, such as blood policy and how david and his men were allowed to eat from the bread reserved for the high priests without death penalty since it was life or death.

carbon dating on human remains/tools that date back 30-40k years, far surpassing the 6k year man creation date, the double standards and very real "human" aspect on the organization and its decisions and history.

I think you are on the road to a real life and thank God your children are young and you have your wife o your side because if things were different between you and your wife you would lose them for sure, I hate to say it but it's true.

My family have been torn apart by the JWs and I nearly lost my son because of it. My sister and her family are still JWs and I have to be so careful what I say because I know if I offent or questain the JWs I shall lose my sister.

So I feel that this is your time so take the next step before it's too late and enjoy your lifes together without the pressure that comes with being a JW. Also, God is love and all about love so pray to him for guidence and he will help you and be with you all, always.

just wondering if anyone ever heard any experiences at assemblies or khalls of apostates that went back to become an upstanding jw.

or even just experiences related amongst jw's.

I have just joined this site and this is my first post which will be short as it's late and time for bed. I have just been reading the above posts as regards to apostates and I have strong thoughts on the subject but, for now will just mention jwstruggle.com. I came accross the videos on You Tube as I was looking for something else and feel that all JWs should watch them but know that they would be forbidden. I am not a JW but my mother was (she passed away 6 years ago) and hence my sisters and their families. I lived my life being told by my mother that I would lose life if I didn't listen to "The Truth". I too have had some very angry moments and to this day have to be careful what I would say to my sister as I don't want to lose her.

Don't be angry with yourself Doc as you were just brain-wasted as so many are, just thank God that you did finally see through the org.
