  up to about 5 minutes ago... i still had the notion that maybe jw's predicted something and got it right... that the league of nations was going to rise and become the united nations.

  i think that jw prophecies/predictions are like a shotgun: shoots many projectiles, one of them has got to hit.

  you cannot predict 5 different things and then, when one of them gets partly fulfilled, drop the other 4.5 things, change the 1/2 thing you predicted that was right and make it seem like that was the only thing you predicted, and make the entire one point fit after the fact.. reading watchtower literature throughout the years (1879 till now), and then coming here and getting awesome explanations from people like leolaia and other researchers, i finally understand the claim that most apostate websites make: the wt has a 100% prediction failure rate.. they were lucky that something big happened in 1914... but now i am much wiser and i know that everything they predicted for 1914 did not turn out as they predicted... 1914 has been a date with many different hats... from the start of armageddon, to the beginning of the last days... etc.... thank you very much jwn for completely opening my mind.

  life's not so great, i've been sulking after it was annouced, the annual meeting of directors is allowing everyone to view the event!

  here comes the congregational corpes "john and jane does" to a meeting they should not be allowed to attend!

  jehovah's witnesses enjoy their royalty just like americans do.

  Pursuading children to be good JW vs non JW

  to help pursuade our child to be well behaved we try all sorts.

  we threaten her with being grounded, no treats, bed early and from sept we start reminding her she needs to stay on santas good list.

  all these things work to a degree.

  Thoughts on Jesus' Resurrection

  i think that in our various discussions about life after the wt, we many times forget about the cornerstone of christian life - the resurrection.

  the implications of the existence a man who holds the power of life and death is manifold.

  it makes discussions about the existence of god obsolete.. for all of scientists' accomplishments they have never been able to make even one amobea come alive from non-life.

  I think its time we get tough with bible believers who claim archaeology supports the biblBob e. I just did some checking again for the millionth time just to make sure im right but archarology labasts and destroys the bible. It devwstates and demolishes the bible.

  So from now on I am not going to argue with bible believers about the matter.. oit has been settled beyond all doubt. So if you say archeology supports an infallible bible you are a liar.

  Even though I hardly ever read her synopsis of the wt due to a very sensitive gag reflex, ahen I do absolutely need a reference and commentary o.n a wt it is nice to know she is there. We deally zhould be paying her to do this as a grojp. I would definitely pitch I. On that. But while we're on the subject of lack of a gag reflex she must be amazing at oral sex and thats a compliment!
