my sister...... is a psycho!!!!.
she's "in feild service" sending out letters to people that didn't answer at the door.
(which is already a little too much) she dressed up in her meeting cloths, head to foot, in order to be presentable while she is writing those letters.
Dont worry Obviously Secret no one in my family was a JW and my sister is still a psycho!

i'm having a really wierd day today.
for some reason i've been sitting at my computer for about an hour with a strange feeling of needing to get something out of my head and onto the page.
normally i can type it out and feel great relief, but today i can't seem to identify what it is.
I feel a strong affinity to Hera and to Artemis. I am an eclectic solitary kitchen/green witch. I believe that you don't need degrees or covens to be a witch. I follow my own path and it works as well for me as a coven does for others.
Sirona are you in a coven? Do you find it difficult to get so many people to work together? I found the few times that I did join a circle that the people involved were all trying to achieve their own "agenda"

Hey Sirona, great info, I wish that more people were as smart about witchcraft as you (ok and me, I am one too) are. I have a friend who's daughter is a "witch" cause she was born a "wiccan" and that she puts "curses" on people she doesn't like. I have tried to set her straight but it is like talking to a wall.
Keep chatting Sirona, perhaps the energy you need to flow from you will come
Blessed be

wrong or right?.
right to choose, or murder?.
what is everyones point of view?.
I am very pro choice, I underwent the proceedure many many years ago back when you were supposed to go before a board of Docs to have it done for non med reasons. The doc I saw put it down to med reasons. I do not regret my choice and if I ever found myself in that same situation again I would do it again. I was 16, a newly recovering drug addict and with a person (though I did end up marrying him, having 2 kids then divorcing him) who was not stable enough to have kids (yes I realize the irony of my other bracketed sentence!).
Bottom line is I did not use it as birth control, I had used the pill but because of coming down of the narcotics it did not work.
Diana, not regretting at least one choice
as much information, insight and entertainment this forum provides, some things about its format and design have come to annoy me.
let me start by saying that i think one of the biggest weaknesses of this forum may be the active topics option at the top.
it seems to me that some people may use this option just to see which topics are still alive.
I love the active topics link, it provides a way to see what is being discussed on the board quickly, and some topics I would not think to look for that are being discussed are in headings that I might not normally look under.
IMHO it is a "good thing"

ok time to be brutally honest.. what do guys think of women with tattoo's.
first thing that jumps into your head.. reason i ask is i'm getting my first one next week and was wondering what the general concensus is.. i am definately sure about doing it.
thought about it for years and it took me 6 months to find the design i wanted.
Ok, well I have 2 and LOVE them. I plan on getting more. My husband hates them but his brothers think my tattoos are so sexy! They want me to take their wives to get them.

my parents threw away my smurfs when i was a kid.. some freaked out jr. publisher saw my blooming smurf collection on the shelf, and informed my parents that smurfs are little demons!.
the enemy of the smurfs was gargamel, a grouchy guy with a cat.. i guess that makes him jehovah eh?.

LMAO not a JW and never was one I loved Smurfs (still do!) one day I was looking on the internet trying to find information about them only to come across an article some college or Uni student did about how the Smurfs were a marxsist (sp?) society. I laughed my butt off, it was so cute.

i want to start a discussion about pit bull dogs.
i live next door to a new neighbor who owns an american pit bull dog (also a female of the same breed that's just given birth to three pups).
when i'm in the owner's presence the dog allows me to pet him, but when the owner isn't present the dog acts extremely fierce to the point that i'm scared of him.
Ok, without having read all the posts before me I have to take a stab at answering this one. I have been involved in the "dog world" for as long as I can remember. The Pit Bull is NOT a pure bred dog, it is a variation of a MIX breed. Starting with the American Bull Terrier. Saying that they are Pure Bred is like saying a cockapoo is a pure bred dog, two (or more) different breeds mixed together, without science to follow it and without generations that are left in between to stablize the breed.
That said, any dog, and I do mean ANY dog, regardless of breed, age, height etc can be extremely vicious. I remember friends of the family putting a whole litter of dogs to sleep because they kept attacking and I do mean ATTACKING each other. Better safe than sorry was this breeders point of view.
Many times the dogs that spawn (for lack of a better word) pet pit bulls were dogs that were bred for their vicious nature and intended for fighting. Though fighting dogs is illegal many many people still practice this form of "entertainment".
If you are afraid of the dog or afraid for your children do not go near it, not just a pit bull but any dog. I have seen dogs that though they seemed extremely docile have attacked and almost killed people. Even then the human owners were hesitant to put the dog to sleep.
I have one rule with my own dog (she is 10 now and kind of cranky) if she ever bit one of the kids without provocation (like if they fell on her, pulled her tail, smacked her) she goes to the vet IMMEDIATELY. She considers all my kids her puppies. If that day ever changes and she sees them as rivals then she goes to live with my mother's best friend.
I will definetly have a dog again after her, but after my kids are grown. I hope to get an Irish wolf hound, they are a lovely breed.
BTW, my dog is a sheltie!
