Just to add to the wonderful image that the link must provide I will tell you a story of what happened to a friend in high school who worked for the local KFC
Michy goes to work one saturday morning. Checking the fat she and the "newbie" at work find that a rat has fallen into the fat and died. Morning manager comes over to them and asks what the problem is (Michy is a screamer, so naturally.....) When they show him the fat he scoops it out starts the fryer and proceeds to USE that fat for the rest of the weekend! Needless to say we NEVER eat at that KFC anymore. Michy reported him to head office, and was FIRED for her efforts.

Didn't even look at the link, sorry Frannie but I do agree with you though, animal cruelty sucks! As for KFC I don't eat it cause since I had my gall bladder out it makes me sick literally.

for me it's the use of : .
it's as a possessive - it's means "it is", so if you don't want to say "it is" don't use the apostrophe.
there are others that bug me but this one is the worst.
I hate being AXED a question or having someone express their IDEARS

Though I am not a single parent anymore it was cheaper when I had the boys in daycare than my dd. What with mortgages etc my hubby is barely making ends meet and he has a very good job. (He is a tradesman).
I do sell on Ebay too but find that it is really hit and miss since I resell items.
LMAO at RR though, too funny!
Keep the suggestions coming though, I do appreciate it very very much!

I had a job interview the other day and I may just get the job but here is my dilema. I can't find affordable daycare. Any daycare I could afford is FULL. That includes all the home daycares. The job I am getting just does not allow for me to pay over 250 a week for daycare!
So what do I do if I stay home? I tried the home daycare thing and it just didn't work out (that could have been the kids I was sitting, they were super spoiled). Any suggestions

from time to time we like to share some good reads with each other on jwd, and now might be a good time to share with you what i'm reading this week.
it's "the gate" by francois bizot which tells of his experiences as the only western prisoner to survive the khmer rouge in cambodia.
in 1971, on a routine outing through the cambodian countryside, the young french ethnologist francois bizot is captured by the khmer rouge.
"Raising Abel" by W. Micheal and Kathleen Gear
"The Witches Bible" by Stewart and Janet Farrar
"Buckland's Big Book of Witchcraft" (also referred to as Uncle Bucky's big blue book) by Raymond Buckland
to me this seems cruel.
after my divorce i heard from a friend that my ex-husband's new wife was doing this to his son to stop him from telling lies.
i was very upset about it especially since he had learned to lie from his father.. i think it is mean, what do you think about it?.
My sister in law did it to her kids for swearing. When they wanted to swear they started saying a "pimenta" word (portuguese for the hot sauce) I have threatened it but never done it. My sister in law also used to prick the kids hands with a pin if she didn't want them to touch something. When they were older and they went to something all she had to do was say "pica' and they would stop.

it appears i am being shunned.
i have been trying to establish a relationship with my father's family back in scotland.
i have sent letters, emails, phone calls, none of which have been returned.. i found out the reasons why too, get this.
It appears I am being shunned. How you ask? I have been trying to establish a relationship with my father's family back in Scotland. I have sent letters, emails, phone calls, none of which have been returned.
I found out the reasons why too, get this
Reason 1: I want to know who my dad's biological father is and know where his family is from
Reason 2: When my parents seperated and divorced I chose to live with my mother and not my father who was a major alcoholic and ended up dying because he drank.
Shunning sucks, no matter the reason, I figured some of you here might better understand how much this hurts than on other boards I frequent, thanks for listening.
