Anyway I think american movie ratings are crazy too. There can be a lot of violence. But if there is a few F words it's R rated. My favourite movie "The Big Lebowsky" has in every sentence the F word. In Europe the rating is 12+, in america it's R rated.

i stated that i thought the borg was marvellous, full of really good people, (in our experience, it has been so far), but that i had difficulty with the dogmatic stance we had on certain issues that we couldn't possibly be sure about, and that if i were to vocalise any of these issues and unrepentantly not change my thinking, then i could be df'd for that, which i view as an unloving bullying tactic.
organ transplants, vaccinations, (jah will resurrect, don't worry), new understandings of the fads and generations etc... particularly the thought that only jw's will be saved.

You can be lucky to have such a loving wife.
My wife treated me as a second class person for weeks and wants to seperate now. Not because I was abusive or a bad husband. Just because I told her that I feel the bOrg doesn't have the truth (especially because shunning and blood). The only way she can live with me is, if I change my belief about the bOrg.
You did very well. Only you know how much you can tell your wife at present.
had a nice long conversation with my "spiritual" neighbor, a little old lady who believes everything she hears.
she was telling me about emotional healing which you do with a chart that tells you what your emotions mean and how to heal them.
it wasn't very clear, i still don't understand what the treatment part of it is, and she couldn't explain it.

What scientists labelled as junk dna is actually not junk. A lot of dna is not yet fully understood. But recent findings in epigenetics show that junk dna is not junk at all. It is important in activating or deactivating genes. Epigenetics shows that even good or bad experiences can be inherited to the next generations.

this book is very interesting.
it's supposedly written about 300bc, whereas revelation is around 70ce.
in the bible, the book of daniel, it speaks of "the watchers".
I just read the book of enoch at the moment. I don't know if I can believe it (as well I am not sure about revelation and some portions of the bible) but it certainly gives a lot of additional information to the bible.
In Jude there is a direct quote from the book of enoch. So first century writers or even Jesus must have known its content.
i could go on and on about my personal journey over the last 2 years or so, but i don't need to.
everything i needed to hear to finally lay my doubts to rest happened on one meeting night.
it could only be divine providence.

hey i'm new here, i've been reading up so much here and on other sites about tatt and it has really settled a nagging feeling of doubt within me.
truly i have been lied to and have been trapped in this cult.
i've been suffering with depression, anxiety, attempted suicide, hospitalization, anti depressants, loneliness all this while being in supposedly surrounded by "the happiest people" on earth.

I feel for you. Yes to have doubts and then certainties can be very troubling and it can come with a lot of tears and pressure. But I tell you it is good that you didn't bury your doubts. From your words I think you are a young person. Maybe it is a good idea to go to university in another country. Don't worry You will be able to find some great friends. Just be determined to show unconditional love to everyone. You can do something good with your life. The best times of your life us ahead of you.
However I think it is important that you have someone to share your feelings and doubts. Why not telling your dad everything that troubles you? Or maybe even your mum (you will know how much you can tell your mum). But do not open your heart to the elders. I did that and it was no help. Everything they care for is that you come back to "mother organisation."

Modern science cannot prove or disprove a creator who might have started evolutionary processes. There are a lot of scientists who believe in a creator who started evolutionary processes (for example Francis Collins director of Human Genom Project).

The theory of evolution does not say a word, that there is no God or no creator (only atheists and fundamentalists in the scientific world say that). Darwin did never say that there is no creator. He even ended his work "Origin of Species..." with the words:
"There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed by the Creator into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone circling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being evolved."
