Deltawave:
I agree fully with you that there is a great difference between being religious and being spiritual.
I lost my belief in organized religion, but didn't loose spirituality.
I wish you all the best in your personal quest for spirituality.
there is a huge difference between been religious and been spiritual.
been religious is about been superior to others in the sight of god.
however, been spiritual is about self awareness, inner peace and unity with the natural world.

at the end of april, there was a zone visit in france, with tv broadcast in all kh.. g. losch told he received a letter from a girl, 10 years old, baptised at 5, reg pioneer since 4 years !
what a fine example, he said....... let s imagine the faces of the parents in the kh!
i was happy to see i was not the only one to find it crazy.. if you have a child, you know how mature he is at 5. how can a child preach 2.5hours/day after 7hours of school and homework to do??
Would be interesting to hear this broadcast, especially hearing him mention this example.
Does anyone have a recording of it?
the video streaming of the german branch visit program was excrutiating 3.5 hours long.. i just went to see the last 45 min (part of mark sandersons talk).. i think sanderson is quite a sympathetic speaker and he kind of made a loving impression.. he didn't mention controversial stuff (except for one thing i will come to soon).
he mostly talked about how to find joy, even when life is not easy, and how much the gb loves the rank and file.. one point seemed soooo important to him.
parents and children.
As some of you requested, here is my recording of Mark Sanderson talking about parents and children baptism.
It is not the full talk. It is just what he said about parents and children (12 min. long).

they are so excited to go to this event than visit there patriarch father of 97 years of age in the hospital who is still a jw .... who we take care of 24 /7 at his home.
what is so important about today?

One point seemed soooo important to him. Parents and children. First he mentioned that he himself, the brother that is travelling with him and his wife, and the branch overseer (don't know the correct title) and his wife, they all WERE BAPTIZED BETWEEN AGE 9 AND 11. In other words, it is very good, if a child as young as 9 gets baptized.
Quite long he urged parents not to hinder young children to get baptized. He also talked about the reasons, why jw parents would possibly hinder young children for baptism.
The first reason he mentioned:
Fear of the parents that the child might be DISFELLOWSHIPPED later.
Second reason:
Parents wish that the child will have a good education and that it has goals in this regard.
He said (i recorded it): "At the various conventions this year, it is a real joy to see so many who have qualified for baptism, AMONG THEM WERE SOME QUITE YOUNG IN YEARS. You parents have to be commended for raising your children to have an appreciation for the truth and for encouraging them to make a dedication to serve Jehovah when young. Such dear young ones face many challenges at school and yet have qualified to get baptized speaks very well of the home training they have received. Well that beautifully expresses the viewpoint of the governing body. And now brothers I would like to ask you a question: DO YOU SHARE THAT VIEWPOINT OF THE GOVERNING BODY? ARE YOU HELPING YOUR CHILDREN TO BECOME UNBAPTIZED PUBLISHERS AND TO MAKE THEIR DEDICATION AT A YOUNG AGE?"
I felt the way he talked about this is a sign, that this might be a real problem for the gb.
for those of you who have already faded due to family still being in, have you noticed how the noose is tightening?.
if it's not memorial, it's special day assembly.
if it's not that, it's convention or the special talk.
If any elder approaches you saying, that you should hand in a copy of your blood card (or asks about the witnesses to your no blood decision) JUST SMILE AT HIM AND SAY SOMETHING LIKE: "Thank you so much, brother xxx for your concern. But no, my medical directive is something personal, that I will not share with you. Be assured that Jehovah knows about it, and I will fully rely on him if any urgency occurs."
The elders can't do anything but respect your decisions in this regard.
(Looking forward if any elder would have the nerve to approach me with this, as I told them in great detail why I would accept a blood transfusion for myself and my son and even donate blood.)
so now with the saturday viewing of videos at the kh there's pressure to be at the kh to see the gb do their thing.
this week's thing of course is beg for more money.
also they are meeting to practice singing the new songs when no new videos are out.
Are those Saturday meetings gb approved?
Seems to me it is just an initiative by some brothers or your body of elders.
Shouldn't the whole saturday be used for field service?
this saturday is the branch visit of mark sanderson in the selters german bethel.. there will be a video streaming for all the congs.. some of you might have heard branch visit talks of sanderson.. will there be something special or controversial?.
i am not sure if i should attend even if it's just for noting or recording some controversial stuff.
would be hard though, 3 hours of wasted time.
