Simple Signs That Cause Jehovah's Witnesses To Lose Morale (Faith In The Governing Body Corporation Kings)
by frankiespeakin ina good way to get the jws doubting corporation leadership, is lower their morale in the governing body.
pointing out their stupidity, authoritarianism, delusions of grandure, and the depts of their wishful thinking bias done in such a way to overide watchtower inplanted prejudice.. highlighting the phobias they have of apostates, their attitude toward children as nothing more that corporation free labor denying them education and handing them over to pedofiles in the congregation be they elders or microphone handlelers.. signs about doctrinal issues are a waste of time but i can't deny that some may benifit but that's just getting them out of one cult and making them pray for another.
anyway the bible is too full of shit to argue doctrine, much better to stay away from it and proceed to spend more time get oneself free from that residual mind control you're still clinging to that's based in the bible.. what are your ideas?.

Oh the irony!
by Captain Blithering inhahaa, ive gotta do a demo this week about responding to the question 'are jw's false prophets'?

You: You're a false profit.
Publisher: Don't you mean false "prophet"?
You: How do you know the difference verbally?! What's wrong with you?
Publisher: I'm sure you meant we are "false prophets".
You (turn to audience): See friends!! He said it himself!....... Either we can research this issue, or die at armageddon.
Walk off stage.

~Humble and Childlike~
by freeflyingfaerie inyou remember the 'encouragement' to be teachable, humble, like little children.... well, children ask questions, and lots of 'em.... so, what happens when we keep on wondering and have questions that demand answers?.
according to jw's, a person has to stop being teachable like little children.
a person is told not to do any real research (which requires humility, a sense of wonder, and openness to new ideas and concepts)....for fear that research done outside of the organizations approved sources- their own- a person may discover contradictions and lies.

I find too many religions use this tactic, JW's perfected it.

So a man has to suck that up and keep it moving, even if it's hurting the family?
Sometimes the situation calls for two incomes, and if she doesn't supply that, I don't see how he would not "qualify" for separation, according to JW rules.
I've heard of abusive wives two, constantly throwing things at the husband or threatening to send her brothers to "take care of him".

*** lv pp. 220-221 The Bible’s View on Divorce and Separation ***
Willful nonsupport.
Extreme physical abuse.
Absolute endangerment of spiritual life.
In the book "Keep Yourselves in God's Love", these are the three reasons listed as to why a separation may occur. Often, though, there is the perception that the wife is the victim, and the husband's the perpetrator. Lets say, for example, the husband is working to pay all the bills, but needs serious help. The wife is completely unwilling to lend financial support, though she is able to do so, claiming "Jehovah will bless us. Put kingdom interests first". She'd rather just work part time and pioneer/clean the house/anything other than work. I don't mean she cannot find work, but is not even willing to try or put in any serious effort.
Given, she may pay her own personal expenses, but never any household bills. Nevertheless, she is complicating expenses because she uses electricity, wears clothes, eat food, uses water, etc. Could a brother claim she is guilty of willful nonsupport and separate?

Foreign language groups
by dissonance_resolved inforeign language groups are the fastest growing groups of jws in the western world.
the best and brightest jws are drawn to them for the privileges, the challenge, the feeling of being special.
but in my experience, being in one of these groups has a side effect.

Im my opinion, JW's with extra privileges and assignments become the best potential waker uppers. They are no longer aloof to the deception, politics, and hypocrisy. They still need the right person/people to break the mental barrier, though.

There are defining moments in every man's life?
by Narcissistic Supply inthere are defining moments in every mans life.defining moments of how we see ourselves.. defining moments of what we identify with.. defining moments of what we stand for.. defining moments of what we believe.. i think all of these defining moments need to be examined.. they need to be examined for their factual basis.. they need to be examined from a different perspective.. its tough to keep it real when everybody wants a hand out.. its tough to keep it real when everybody has an agenda.. its tough to keep it real when everyone [around you is] a snake oil salesman.. its a little complicated.. somehow you have to pull your head out and figure out what is actually truth and not the mnemonic that vvatchtower says is truth.
somehow you actually have to think for yourself.. somehow you have to draw on your ability to reason.. somehow you have to think logically.. somehow you have to actually look at the facts and not what vvatchtower tells you are facts.. our minds are 87 percent visual.. im thinking that 83 percent of the 7 million jws actually believe what they see.. [other jw's affirming the nonsense].
im thinking that eventually 17 percent will actually believe the nonsense that they see.

They MUST be happy, because God is happy, its a command. And their load is light. So it must be real. (Sarcasm)

Are you thankful to know TTAT or not?
by laverite ini am so thankful that i was able to learn the truth about the truthtm (ttatt).
i owe everything in my life to having left watchtower corp: my education, my position as a college professor, being able to write and publish, travel, family life, my beautiful children, being able to be openly gay -- and happy.
unlike those closeted homosexuals in the truthtm, i do not have to be afraid to be who i am.
