Apart form the JW's, has any other cult ever tried to recruit you?

i was sucked in once, while i was working at my store that i managed years ago a middle aged man in a suit bought an outfit from me.

Before I met my wife and got involved with the jws, I dated two woman who each happened to belong to the same cult-like church. I went to one service with the first one; I was hauled up front and was the "saved one" of the week. After that, I confronted the head minister; he didn't like my confrontational attitude; and that was it. Months later, when I met the second woman and found out that she attended the same church, I broke it off before it even got started.

well, i guess i work bass-ackwards sometimes.

i started posting on here about a year ago when i was moved by some threads.

i even helped to organize a local apostafest last may through the forum, but have never formally introduced myself.

i have been reading a book on ...........well.........sending out vibes.............best way to describe it.

so i haven't really been doing that, but this morning i was thinking about a woman i used to go in service with quite often.

she lives in another cong.

Once did some research on ESP. Maybe when we are keenly focused on a thought or a process, then if it does come about it seems to be more than just coincidental. instincts can helps us to not only avoid bad situations; but can also be an aid in preparing for good situations. just a thought.

i was standing on my front porch talking on my cell phone when three car loads of them pulled up down the street.

by the time i finished my conversation, one of the jws was standing on my sidewalk waiting for me to get off the phone.

i eventually did.

i just know brummie will be here with me on this one, but wasn't the eighties pop music just the best (maybe i'm getting old here at 32) but hey, bring back wham!

and duran duran, nik kershaw, howard jones kate bush aha etc etc.....just great.....reminds me of all my school days, being naughty and getting detention on more than one occasion.

on sunday thunder and i will celebrate 19 years of marriage

first i wanted you all to know what a great guy he is and secondly i wanted to wish thunder a happy happy anniversary.
