  i would like to support the "unbelieving mate" community in a new way, and if it is possible, help those who like me, fell in love with a jehovah's witness.

  JWD is a big ol' crutch!!!....and a marriage counseling update

  and thank the great apostagod i found it, cause i was quite crippled and needed crutches.

  waking up messed me up in many ways and has strained my marriage beyond belief as my wife is still a very hard core jw.

  i have used jwd as a support group, and it is very good as that (my shrink said i needed to find one).

  there are so many new alternate boards popping up, it will be very difficult to know who's where.. i can't do without blondie's watchtower study and paul's stuff always interests me, so although i appreciate.

  the posts of many others, i really want to know where paul and blondie are going.. please blondie and paul, let us know where you intend landing.. .

  I'll Bet Many Won't Know What To Do Without JWD

  after coming here almost every day for years, it will be bewildering to have no jwd.

  and the truth is, there are other places that will pop up in the years to come but i doubt very much anything will be of this magnitude in regard to assisting others out of the organization.. i think if any are so inclined, they should make their emails available so as to make further contact with our cyber friends.. well now, i'm sure a lot of lurkers are kicking themselves for not joining here.

  on august 4th of 2008 at approximately 8:00-8:10am i was coming from the front office after receiving a green sheet for being absent on thursday, july 31st 2008. i was passing the women's restroom on my way back to class, when i saw steve walking the barren hallways.

  he didn't notice me since i was walking far behind him.

  Christine's Retirement Lunch

  a few months ago, i went to christines retirement lunch.. i didnt really know christine that well, she joined the company when we merged with another business a year or two before.

  she took care of facilities management (cleaning contractors, building maintenance, landlord management etc) on all the properties the company used.

  prior to the new arrangements, she would most probably have been one of my team, but as it was, she reported up to someone else, and i never got to know her properly.. until the day of the retirement lunch, when i sat next to her and a long talk.

  well, it's not exactly on the date but the first opportunity thereafter!.

  it's been a hell of a ride.

  we were both regular pioneers when we met and we weathered the storms of getting married (both sets of parents did their best to keep it from happening), chris leaving the borg, me staying in for another 15 years and two kids, his family disowning him, my father's suicide .
