We are becoming champions of grief. We lost twin B.
by Darkknight757 inlast week we had a reassurance ultrasound with our ob.
she was just supposed to check heartbeats on the two little ones and they were going strong!
but because she had extra time and she can be quite anal about her work (which is a good thing) she decided to take some measurements.

Your welcome Blonde. I was sitting through the WT discussion yesterday and had to come and get your take it on it. I was glad to see you posted.
Oh what a set up they are doing for next week's WT.
I'm interested to see your post for the next article, if you chose to do so (I understand if you dont).
I always appreciate your time, research and commentary.

Another big step on my journey
by LogansRun in1987 attended the memorial for the first time, and the last time?
2016. it was a big step for me to not go last night i'm convincing myself that i really do have the strength to never return to this living nightmare of a religion.
you may recall i'm a fader my last meeting was 9 months ago and i have deflected a number of attempted visits and dozens of phone calls they now just hang up on my answering machine, as a matter of fact they did it again this morning.

Follow up: the baby did not survive
by Captain Schmideo2 init was always a long shot anyway.
but, after a week of emotional pain for the mom, and extreme physical pain for a helpless infant, the baby's body finally succumbed.. all those prayers from the parents, from family, from friends, were absolutely worthless.
that is a deity for ya!

Amazing new graph - publisher increase compared to country population increase rates
by jwfacts inworld population growth rate is 1.13%, whilst jehovah's witness average publishers grew by 1.8%.
watchtower growth is outpacing population growth, though at a dismal rate considering the 2 billion hours of preaching required for an increase of just 115,194. this is an aggregate number, and most growth is from developing nations in africa and south america.
what i was really interested in finding is how watchtower growth compares to the population growth in different countries.

Irregular to meetings, can I partake in memorial?
by Squekylive inhi friends .
i don't believe in jw doctrines anymore but because of family i have to be a jw for now.. i am not regular to meetings, and don't answer in meeting, but i report some hours so i remain as active jw now.. .
congregation knows that i am not spiritual and i don't talk to people and i don't care what they think about me.. now, i believe it's important to observe lord's supper as a christian as per john 6:53, so in the coming memorial if i attend i want to partake in the communion,.. i believe it is a sin to pass the bread and wine inspite of knowing it's flesh and blood of jesus.. it's like rejecting jesus.. so i want to partake.. but i dont consider i am anointed etc.

I agree with Rocky_Girl.
If you dont believe in JW doctrines anymore and only attend for family, why do you feel the need to partake at thier memorial? Are you really rejecting Jesus if you dont partake from them?
The bread and wine are prayed over by JW's at their version of a service commemorating Jesus' death. If you no longer agree with them, why participate in thier service any more than you have to?
Since your attending for family, how will they view you if you partake? Maybe observe somewhere else?
