cart displays in front of their homes?
my mom is only in her mid 60s so i'm quite sure this is not an issue of mental illness.. the only illness she's suffering from is boredom since she's refused to work for years now.

My elder brothers and sister (not JW's) are respected and looked up as the family patriarch
by JW' family members also, since my mom and dad has passed. I'm fourth in line so it will
end with me or bypass me to my younger JW brother...
But I understand the culture.....I'm so happy my mom didn't become a JW!!

Serving where the need is great my Mom(not a JW but a church going Baptist) came for a visit.
One day a few of the friends were over to meet her. I wasn't there that day but my wife
told me my Mom excused herself and went in the den and and played and sing Amazing Grace.
When my wife told me I thought it was so funny, that's my mom and I loved her.
The friends left as soon as my mom started playing..

I would welcome a cart in front of my house. OH boy! I would love it. I will contact
my local KH and ask, would anyone care to set up a cart in front of my home. I would
provide water but no bathroom.
Just think of the conversation you will have with your neighbors. Who in the hell is
that person in front of your home with that cart? There will be no walking traffic, peacefulness.
Won't need my alarm system, a burglar will think forget it. We need to think positive here.

my local paper "convention--jehovah's witnesses meeting in long beach".. every year 150000 to 180000 hold their convention in l.b.
calif. start this weekend-sept.9-11.. not a lot of folks for the southern california convention, about 10000 people per weekend.. the sorry la lakers (basketball) draw more than that at their games..
