i'm trying to fade away from the jw religion fully aware of ttatt .
my wife is still under mind control of this cult and teenager 14 years old attending most of the meetings an some ministry arrangements but is not interested and going just to please mum.
i actively educate my son about about other cults and their practices and he knows i don't believe that wt has anything to do with god.

Hi all. The thing is that I'm not sure if I should tell him that we are in the cult and we can't talk about this with his mum because she is under mind control and she simply wouldn't understand. Idea is we can work together and eventually free my wife from the bond of Wt . I'm not sure how much is the average teenager able to comprehend problem like this. If anyone has experience with this please share. Thanks.
my spouse felt a need to tell to elders about me reading apostate websites and speaking against wt stuff , so they'll probably try to readjust my apostate thinking any time soon.
my spuse never see me reading anything but, during our arguments i did't keep my mouth shut and she knows that i had to read it somwhere and it wasn't jw.org.
could this get my in the trouble if my spose is the only witness and never spoke to another person about this stuff ?
Thank folks. I need get opinion on something else , but for this purpose I'm going to start another thread.

No need to apologise. Of course I'm mad, but on other hand that's what are jw trained to do. I'll sort this out when things get settled. My relatives are not Jw except my spouse family , we are quite close and forced separation would hurt but that's not my choice anyway. Patience is something I'm lacking. I was always open in our relationship, no secrets so this is kind of difficult for me. I did all research possible, Steven Hassan included so I know where I'm standing. I think all I need is to get some fresh air and relax , don't stress out. Thanks.

OR ....you could just tell the Elders ,if they ask, that what you discuss within your own home is no one else's business.
Does this work?

I'm very carefull ( just could't keep my mouth shut ) all I' ve got in my comuter are some old and recent pdf watchtower scans from the internet archives. These are source of my spuse irritation as she knows that I keep them to prove Wt wrong.
Sadly arguments are inevitable if both parents have completaly different opinion how to raise their child. I don't want my child experience same disappointment in his future life due to some deceiful judgmental religion whereas my other half is covinced that this as an only way to live our life. Thanks for your advice so far.

Well our mariage has been working fine until I've changed my mind about wt crap. I'm trying to fade away but that's not easy in my case. There is teenager involved and he does't believe anything said on meetings only attends because friends and family. I don't want to my kid being brainwashed by some elder after I leave. Most of the stuff I discussed with my spouse could by find in articles on Wikipedia or some newspaper articles are these cosideret apostate material?
