There was opposition to Jesus' preaching, and he said that his followers also would be opposed. When some were impressed with Jesus' teaching, religious opposers retorted: "You have not been misled also, have you? Not one of the rulers or of the Pharisees has put faith in him, has he?" (John 7:46-48; 15:20) Many who advise you not to study with the Witnesses are either uninformed or prejudiced.

YES I DID BROADEN the conversation didnt i - but funny how there is no straight answer to my questions? just....... "keep reading" "keep investigation and find out for yourself" "be open minded" - i have not yet mentioned for any of you to go to the meetings to find out the truth. why? becuase the truth lies with-in the bible. so... no answers to my questions. i could get out of this discussion . but then that would make it too easy for all you to not have to answer my questions. but i would not get frustrated if no one answered them. i would just realize that everyone is just blowing smoke in this website.

i will give you some proof "overbeer" - i would like to ask you a question. may i ask you. if i leave the orginization. where would i go...... where would i go to get the love that i get with-in the Truth? where would i go to get so much biblical information? where would i go to get proper guidance? think about it. the JW's are not wrong in not letting their children not steal. or do drugs. or have sexy before they are married. if you beleive in the bible. you very well know that would be against what GOD wants us to do. also is it not true that we are one of the only religions that actually puts the real NAME of god back into the bible? his name is not LORD is it? - are we the only ones that teach that the teachings of the TRINITY is false. where else could i go where they will teach me such things? please inlighten me. becuase i must be blind. i have read up on other religions. and i can not find a single religion that is so interested in READING what the bible says.

hey pleasuredome - if you think this way.... why are you still going to the meetings? doesnt make sense. dont get me wrong . i would love for you to stay. but if you are against what we beleive then why do you stay? the first time some posted about the noahs ark deal - it was mentioned in a literal way - meaning that why should they let people in "the ark" if they are non beleivers - refering of course to the day of 9-11 - and i was responding to the fact that this would be a rediculous statement. i think that there is a similarity to the days of noahs ark - its very evident if you look at the world around us. i dont think that anyone can mistake that. - no i will say this to (outlaw) your right i didnt read carefully as to what you had said. but does that mean im a lier? i dont think so. - there has only been one thing that you guys have said that is true. i should look up more information on a few topics before posting again. and i will. -------------yet i still beleive that JW's are doing more for humanity than most religions - i dont know of a single witness that is getting rich or earning his paycheck on helping others. yet i know that most religions that claim to help the needed have ceo's that pay for their 500,000 homes and 60,000 cars with parts of the proceeds of the donations.---------i know what your going to say. our cicuit overseers get cars and apts. to live in and other expenses paid. but again i have yet to see 1 CO driving a bmw - or living in a RICH neighborhood - yet i know of countless of ministers that claim to be HELPING the needy that are buying 1,000,000 homes - yes. i know them personally. this is not something i read out of a watchtower.

ok.... well first off - id like to say that i have never - in my 23 years in the truth- heard of the watchtower bible and track society refered to as NOAHS ARK. (is everyone happy that i spelled it right? i hope so because that seems to be the only thing that i am doing that everyone can comment about.) - NOW - there is alot of thing similar between Noahs Days and ours. and the WBTS does make reference to that fact. for instance. one of the similar things is that people would laugh at us for beleiving that jehovah will wipe all evil from the earth. and guess what? thats exactly what most of you are doing. --- Jehovahs witness are not the only religion that beleive that the end it near - actually i would say a good amount of religions beleive the same thing. not interpreted the same way as we. but still in similar fashion. --------- now going back to the NOAHS ark deal --------- when i mentioned (OUTLAW) that "if we did think of the WTBS as NOAHS ARK" i was simply stating how rediculous it sounds for you to think that Jehovahs witnesses beleive that WBTS is the modern day NOAHS ARK. - so again i am not a lier and you mentioned that your religion would consider me a SATAN worshiper. what religion are you from? IM SURE ITS MUCH BETTER THAN MINE RIGHT?

notice..... SOME of their doors - NOTICE didnt mention ALL of their doors - was very careful in choosing those words since i knew someone would try and get me on a technicality instead of have hard facts.------ well like i said... my brother was there... and they did help alot of people according to what he informed me. if anyone was there... that saw differently. then i will take that into consideration but untill then all i can base your opinions on is some third parties accounts of the facts. THAT is not very reliable. --------also inresponse to the noahs arch. again if we do see wtbs as modern days noahs arch. we are still pearching and there would still be chances for people to enter the arch. and also it is important to note that your guys are taking the noahs arch thing in a literal since. if anything it would have to be in a simbolical sense since not all 6 million of us can fit inside of bethel in brocklyn.

wow... again. im glad i was able to come back and saw some of the responses. well first i would like to mention to little toe. first of all... "little toe" whats that all about... second of all the troll - the truth=the troll. again i think most people on this sight have too much times on their hands. i want to make a point that i have noticed - when i first came onto this thread - i noticed that people we saying that watchtower had closed its doors - and that bethelites were not allowed to watch. then when i made my comment about having a brother in bethel and that he saw the whole thing and that they helped anyone they could coming over the bridge. - now everyones focus changed. why? becuase they knew i was right. now everyone is talking about how no one went to the actual ground zero and helped reconstruct - or how they dont "beleive" that watchtower helped because "WE" see it like noahs arch. - well not true. we do want to help those who are not witness - remember there is still time. in the days of noahs arch. he would have let people come in. if they would have listened before the doors had closed. well that is another bag of worms - but the truth is that i can not again give a number of how many were helped by witnesses - but i will say this. if the watchtower did close some of its doors. i would not blame them. not just their security but the NATIONS security was in danger. that day "us" as a nation were not secured. and im sure many businesses and homes closed that day. and how many releigious orginazations can you name that did go help reconstruct. and how many churches were in the area who did help hundreds? instead of just dozens? and in answer the the person who spoke about the press not mentioning anything about witnesses not helping - well... i didnt see anything on any other religion either. soooooooooo...... why should the watchtower be looked at as INHUMAN , or NON CARING. im glad people like little toe are ready my comments. it helps this website out to have at least one person who is not trying to go against JEHOVAHS orginization. also one last question. out of all of these EX_JW - what religion HAVE you found the truth in? i am very curios to hear. becuase i have not yet to see anyon mention as to where they find the truth. if not in the watchtower. e.a

this is funny. i wonder where the res of you that have responded get your info? well my brother is in bethel and happened to be in one of the buildings upstairs in brooklyn. someone mentioned that they heard that they even closed the blinds so no one could see what was going on. funny thing is that my brother witnessed (no punn intended) the whole thing. so there goes that theory.
also my brother told me that they helped hundreds of people that were coming on from the bridge - now i cant lie and say i know numbers. but from experiences from the past.... does it seem right that bethel would shut its doors and not help people in need of help - now if there is one thing jehovahs organization is based on... its love. no matter how much someone might want to criticize JW's come on.. you can actually live with yourselfs stating that we CLOSED the doors (i do understand for security reasons) but for someone to think that they didnt want to help anyone - or that you had to show your pioneer card or no blood card - WOW......... unbeleivable.
well if anyone has any more "prooven facts" let me know i am curious to hear them. againt he info i have is straight from someone who was there... who witnessed everything.
