by els ini have been on a different discussion board for these things called cluster headaches that i get.
it's a good board with alot of really good info but it's kinda hard to break into.
it's like they don't want to invest too much in you till they know you're going to stick around.

By far, one of the stupidest things I have heard
by freedom96 ina person i know, has a child, who is barely a teenager.
he just gave a talk in the hall, and guess what the topic was?.
i can understand a bible reading at that age, etc.

I remember elders doing masturbation talks. LOL!! On the subject of masturbation, I was helping my mom clean out a box of our JW books. For fun I flipped to the masturbation chapter in the YPA book. There weren't any solid scriptures backing up the JW belief that invading the marten is a wrong thing to do. If more people choked their chickens the world would be a happier place. There's my $.2

What's The Worst Job You've Ever Had?

book-servant at the kingdom hall would be pretty bad, but ministerial lawn servant is probably worse.. outside the society, probably my worst job was waitering.
i have a very short short-term memory, although this is more than made up for by my ltm, which means i made a really sh*te waiter, let me tell you.

In my employment experiences, the worst jobs are temp assignments through staffing agencies. I have worked in many different industries: insurance, doctor's offices, engineering, and mortgage companies. My worst, awful, hell-on-earth office experience was for Commonwealth United Mortgage (the 3rd and the most Evil mortgage company of my temping career).
I was a receptionist who was responsible for answering phones (that would ring off the hook...throughout the day I'd have over 10 people on hold), delivering hundreds of faxes (I'd be responsible for three fax machines located throughout various locations in the office), and when I'd get up to deliver the paperwork, the trainer told me I must turn up the ring volume of the phone to max so I could hear it throughout the office. I'd have people complain to me all day about the deafening volume of the phone, and would turn it down and get lectured. It was an entire female office, with no testosterone to level things out . The worst, ghetto part of the job was logging all incoming mortgages and paperwork by hand, in a logbook, with a pencil. I don't know of many companies in the US who don't use computers in the 21st century to log info! I called my temp agency to get me the hell out of this nightmare and low and behold, I am informed I am the 6th temp to quit this job.

Did You Know That You Could Be Disfellowshipped For French Kissing?
by minimus ina number of years ago, a body of elders discussed the matter of "french kissing".
they came to the conclusion that this practice of "french kissing" was a disfellowshipping offense on the grounds of "engaging in loose conduct".
one young couple were judicially reproved for their "sin" and the elders felt that since the matter was not widely known, that they would be "privately reproved".

Are witnesses intellectual showoffs?
by JH inthe jehovah witnesses are a religion, and that's what they should talk about.
why do they have to talk about so much more than religion.
after all, they aren't doctors or engineers, chemists, they are bible students.. i never understood why they published the awake magazine.

Women: Do you actually experience penis envy?

i always thought this was ridiculous, and that if anyone suffered from anything, men suffered from womb envy.. tim has challenged me to ask women; i don't know if he's teasing or not, but he says i will absolutely find women have penis envy.
i say no frigging way.. please offer opinions both ways.

Talking about legalizing marijauna
by obiwan inwell i was discussing to a friend about legalizing "it" and he said it's not possible.
then i proceeded to tell him how it could be, here's how it could be.
first the government would award contracts to growers so it could be grown.

ex-JWs: Do you now say "Bless You!" when someone sneezes?

most jws can't say "god bless you" or "bless you" when someone sneezes for fear of blessing someone with the wrong god.. now that you are out, do you have the nerve to say it?.

Nope, still don't ever catch myself saying "bless you" when someone sneezes. I've said gazuntite (sp).
