BTW..Forget having them send a pic of their face, that's irrelevant...what's important is the size of their book bag and how they use it....

American -vs- European travelers
by Seven injwd, .
i've noticed on more than one occasion comments such as this one made in mattnoel's post this morning within the us/patriotism thread: its also very much the world of america, people dont go outside except to canada and mexico.
could it be that we are the only nation out of the long list of major western countries not to have legally mandated vacation days?

Realist - Wow, lots of Mozart stuff!
StinkyPantz - I used to waitress too, actually looking to serve again....it's so much better than being confined to a desk all day...

good books?
by free will inwhat are some of your favorite books?
especially those that help you with your spirituality?
(but not limited to that genre).

It's not a spiritual book per se, but it's the best self help book I've ever read, Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway.

Post your favorite JW "DEMON" story
by MoeJoJoJo in.
we've all heard different stories floating around our congregations of different ones(bible studies, or brothers or sisters) having an encounter or 'problems' with demons.
what was your favorite?.

My friend at the time had her cousin living with her, who was not a JW. She brought home a Halloween party invitation from school and the entire household started having sick nightmares. They discovered the invitation and threw it out, and everything returned to normal.
I also knew this sister who had to stop shopping at garage sales because anything she would buy, would invite demons....Also this goody-goody girl at our hall told me to throw out my Nirvana tape, because of the name of the band was "too spiritistic".
The one I'd heard at the meetings: This witness boy went into a cemetery with two other worldly boys and they saw an apparition. The witness boy taunted it and said, "I'm not scared of you, you can't do anything to me, I've got Jehovah on my side." The next day the boy was supposedly dead in his bed.

What's the difference between a porcupine and a Volkswagen full of Jehovah's Witnesses? With a porcupine, the pricks are on the outside.
LOL! I likie! Hehehehehe

Hey StinkyPantz - I'm 24 too! May I ask what your work involves? I'd love to do more traveling and would like a job with the freedoms you mentioned (I'm in career hell).....

What celebrity gives you irritable bowel syndrome? Who would you like to send to Baghdad to stop irritating your bowels?
People I'd like to send to Baghdad:
1. The Real World Cast; Las Vegas, NV
Because they are whiney and annoying drama queens.
2. Calista Flockheart
She doesn't deserve Han Solo and needs to eat a whopper...
3. J-Lo
Please mommy, make her stop!!!!
4. Evan Marriot (Joe Millionare)
Ug, need I say more?
5. Michael Moore (Directed the movie Bowling for Columbine)
Inappopriatly used the platform at the Oscars to share his political beliefs; can't stand this slob. He needs to live in a country with no electricity and see how vocal he'd be!
