They stopped by work yesterday to "see how I was doing." All I do is stay calm.....gracious.........thank them for coming, I appreciate their concern, we're good, I have their phone number, if I ever need anything I'll be sure to call them. The visits have been further and further apart. Important to remember to say as little as possible but don't be rude. Give them nothing and they have nothing to report to the other elders.

Memorial 2016

Great responses! I just did a little more reading about it to. The break from the Jewish calendar was set by the Church of Rome at the first council of Nicaea to set up Easter. Long story short i guess is the memorial follows Easter around instead of the Jewish calendar. Interesting stuff! -

I remember this happened a year or so ago.....but has anyone heard or told an explanation for the discrepancy? I mean I'd imagine the Jewish faith and nation may have a better handle on their own calendar then a group of guys sitting in NY! -

Like saying a murderer of only a couple people isn't nearly as bad as a serial killer.........or given the numbers, 1.25 billion Catholics worldwide vs. around 8 million dubs, the figures of abuse could be almost proportionately similar. Which tells me, they're all the same -

Can't trust really anyone. I've seen a couple times......."friends" turning in friends for self promotion with the elders. Loyalty was pretty much quickly rewarded with MS recommendations. Can't make this stuff up. They look for guys that are company men. Personally, I've dropped tidbits to my wife.......but very very slowly

a holier than thou pioneer couple saw us.
if that was not enough i saw her take a picture of me with my cousin.

Doesn't matter.....in the "Shepard the Flock" elder manual there is a section on when judicial committees are to be formed.....it spells out "associating with NON-FAMILY disfollowshiped ones". I would call them out on it if they say anything at all..... -

Lol........for 2016, every Hebrew calendar I checked has Nissan 14 falling an April 22nd.
