God I hate hypocrisy. No one should be forced to choose between their family and their beliefs? Why does everything apply to everyone except the wtbts?

In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth...
by geek inthis very first sentence in the bible makes no sense to me, i struggle with it and i am wondering what other's thoughts are on the subject.
don't get me wrong, i believe in god, i believe their is a creator, or atleast i hope their is.
but i struggle with him creating the heavens and the earth, i mean, why would he?

Evolution may not make tons of sense, but neither does the bible. I don't really know the answers. There really aren't any solid answers that we know of it seems like.

I thought you had to be hypocrital, overly critical, and a backstabber to meet the JW criteria. But yes. I also tried really hard to be a good little JW, yet got held back while other peers my age got to get baptized and have priveleges. Of course, Im thankful I wasn't baptized. Call it divine intervention.

For me the guilt has lingered. Always paranoid someone is not gonna like something you're doing. Feeling guilt that you've strayed from something that has been engrained in you as the truth since birth. It gets better, slowly. They're very good at the art of mind f***

A big part of me leaving the witnesses is because I don't believe in the bible anymore. I guess I'm agnostic, because I don't know the answers. But the bible is much like Easop's Fables to me. Maybe SOME good stories with morals ( while some are barbaric and not moral), but not a factual book. Think about the story of noah. There are 10,000 species of animals, living in different climates, with different diets. You're telling me Noah was able to accommodate that? And we know he didn't select a few species which evolved into all 10,000. That's a no no for creationists.

IM not fresh out of the witnesses. I had trouble making friends while I was a witness, they had their judgemental cliques, and I didn't fit in there. Now I feel like everyone is judging me for everything, the clothes I wear, the way I talk, the way I do things. I think its something the dubs instilled.

Everyone is right about the vinegar. And once its dried it no longer leaves that smell. Vinegar also makes a great fabric softener and glass cleaner. Water, vinegar, and a dash of detergant works better than windex.
