JW making music videos now?

i'm not sure if this is new since it is hard to keep up with the ever changing jw.

it is morphing so much.

i went to jw.org tv video for november and around 53 or 54 minutes into the broadcast the gb guy introduce a music video called "we won't forget you".

with the recent case of the watchtower hierarchy defying the court to either produce documents relating to child sex abuse claims within their organisation, and also refusing to produce a governing member to appear in court to answer questions , not only shows their arrogance and defiance of the law , they also show their contempt of the judicial system of the usa .. arent they supposed to be obeying the bible injunction ?

" pay back ceasers things to ceaser ?".

"when you are hailed before the courts , i will put words in your mouth ?".

Unfortunately, not learning from the mistakes of court compliance means a continuation of not learning the mistakes associated with child protection. I see your point and I agree it would be very satisfying to grab a Coke and a bag of popcorn and watch the WTS take one bloody nose after another for their arrogance. But it would come at a very high a price.

That said, it may play out the hard way anyway given the attitudes of superiority coming out of Brooklyn.

And one day you wake up, and find you’re in you 50's, with NOTHING to even start to think about retiring with!

I woke up in my early 40's. Since, I have been pouring as much as I can possibly live without into a 401K. I've also been taking a course with my eye on Physical Therapy. Final test coming up December 3rd.

That reminds me - I need to get off this stupid computer and study.

My neighbor is a return visit. Should I say something?

i stayed home sick from work the other day and noticed a car group pull up to my neighbor's house.

she's a stay-at-home mom.

i decided it was time to retrieve something from my truck to see if i could recognize the visiting sisters.

In fact... that gives me a GREAT idea. There's this supervisor at work..............

I was thinking about this yesterday when I read a post here about how it would take 20 man years to compile the documents requested by a San Diego Judge for a pedophile hearing. But then I remember how the very first JW.tv clip was boasting about how fast they remodeled an entire floor or wing of a building to get the studio put together - in just two weeks.

"That couldn't have happened without God's holy spirit. Just goes to show how fast things can happen when God wants it done."

UPDATE

I was walking out to the street to retrieve my mail and spotted my neighbor in the yard. We have a friendly enough rapport with each other so I just came right out and asked, "So... when are you getting baptized?"

She knew what I was talking about.

The look on her face was priceless. She rolled her eyes and became so animated: "HOW DO YOU MAKE THEM GO AWAY???" She told how she has asked them three times to stop coming over but they keep coming. I told her she made the mistake of accepting a piece of their literature. "Once you do that, you’re in the database. Remember that song Hotel California?"

Again... the look on her face was priceless.

I asked her to continue being respectful to them as she already told me she was. I explained how most of them are good people, just out doing what any good drone will do. But you have to put your foot down and be firm.

All that was a few days ago. My neighbor since found out and told me that it was a friend of hers that put the JWs up to calling on her as a joke. Friend of a friend works with a JW and gave them a lead

If only the Watchtower lawyers had explained to the judge that only the governing body is qualified to determine who is and who is not a predator.

Case dismissed.
