"Don't Quit"
by Garnet injust had a little something i wanted to share with everyone.
a few years back, when i was in high school, i was a very depressed teen (who wasn't .
don't quitwhen things go wrong as they sometimes willwhen the road you're trudging seems all up hillwhen the funds are low and the debts are highand you want to smile, but you have to sighwhen care is pressing you down a bitrest, if you must, but don't you quit life is queer, with its twists and turnsas everyone of us sometimes learnsand many a failure turns aboutwhen he might have won had he stuck it outdon't give up though the pace seems slowyou may succeed with another blow success is failure turned inside outthe silver tint of the clouds of doubtand you never can tell how close you areit may be near when it seems so far so stick to the fight when you're hardest hitit's when things seem worst that you must not quit ~author unkown.

Notes from the Convention
by Gadget ini was at the convention today, and noticed a number of interesting points in the program.. 1cor 10:31; "therefore, whatever you are eating and drinking or doing anything else, do all things to gods glory.
" they said that everything that we do is up to our conscience, but how would what we are doing reflect on jehovah.
at the same time they said jehovah is not a dictator.... "pay more than the usual attention.

Why the US is great despite Bush!
by Realist inall the heated debates about iraq have caused many americans here to think that several of us anti bush guys hate america and hate americans.. this is not the case!
i want to state emphatically that the us is a great country with great people!
i have lived in ny for 3 years and had a fantastic time there.

One thing about the Yanks, they love to eat well
Maple Syrup pancakes in the morning mmmm.....
and those wonderful steak houses !!!! Great stuff !
And of course, their legal system seems to work a lot better. Don't suppose you will get anything as crazy as the Tony Martin case over there !
( For those that don't know who Tony Martin is : He was convicted of defending his property with a shotgun as theives tried to rob his house. He killed one and hurt the other, and is currently behind bars. The guy that lived today was successful in getting permission to SUE Tony Martin for damages. What a sad, lame indication of the British legal system )

Thanks for the advice,
but it is like I said ; I'm not going to sit here and type all night trying to get my point across because somebody has questioned my knowledge. I don't need to prove to him the extent of my knowledge, but he needs to learn to shut up.

Then I might be convinced you know what you're talking about.
Hey screw you, man.
You know fuc* all about me, the environment in which I was raised, how much I know about Islam and Saudi or why I defend the Arab world. Don't even try implying that I don't know what I'm talking about you presumpteous fuc*.
Don't attack me because I might have different ideas and opinions from yourself. If I chose to defend Islam or the Arab world, for whatever reasons, that is up to me. I'm not even going to try to convince you that I have even a slight knowladge of these things, I don't have to prove myself to you in any way.
Don't ever attempt to question my knowladge or reasons behind it again, you know nothing of it, you ignorant fool.

DID JESUS LOSE HIS FAITH?
by plmkrzy inin god?.
jesus spent close to 20 years convincing people he was the savior and the son of god.. .
he did such a good job of it that 2,000 years later a large portion of the world still believes it.. .
