  How to Witness to JWs

  To show others the truth of the Watchtower, so they will not be hurt in the same way. I left because I learnt the truth; why deny that oppertunity to others ?

  Unbelievable experiences at assemblies or conventions

  what experience at an assembly or convention caused you to raise your eyebrows in disbelief?.

  one that comes to mind is a 5 year old conducting several bible studies.

  wasn't it hard enough for an adult to get a bible study?

  I was going to say something, but I have just spotted an ugly ginger haired kid as I glanced out of my window.

  ..... oh yeah, this is it. I remember I used to work cleaning with this guy, who was a ministerial servant. He was the most two faced, hypocritical backstabbing idiot you would ever meet. You sold me short so many times on wages. About 2 years after finishing working for him, I heard that he was working for some Computer place, selling computers. This place was being investigated by customes and the Tax office for fraud. All the employers were under risk, and people knew that he was at it. To cut a long story short, just before he got investigated he packed up and left. Besides, he didn't get paid for 6 months, so he had to leave anyway.

  The following month, at an assembly, he was speaking on the platform about how he decided to leave his workplace in 'order to serve Jehovah more' and 'do more in the service'. Lies ! He left because he wasn't getting paid and was under extreme pressure via the tax office ! Yet there he was, goody 2 shoes, telling everybody including the elders that were hot on his back about how he left because of God..... sickening !

  i'm whining, but mostly to see if i can focus some of this energy.... anyway, i'm furious right now.

  Thanks for the post.

  It really made me laugh ! I'm sorry if you wanted a more sombre reply, but I do feel for you as well. Life is shit, isn't it ? Really, I wasn't laughing at your bad luck, I was laughing at the way in which you wrote about it. Everything seemed to be going against you; but please know that I think your style of writing is really funny !

  It's a bummer about all them things that were happening. You know, you are not the first person to think about burning down the local KH. I think you know that I certainly have. I know what it is like to work in an environment like that; I used to work in retail and some of the customers were just scum. Most people were ok, but some were real assholes. I remember having to deal with one family that got pissed off and placed a complaint with the management because I didn't speak THEIR language, and didnt even try ! Sad, isn't it ?

  But a brighter day will come, and when you get there, tell me how it feels. I hop your parents see the truth for what it really is one day.

  Normally, I would see a post like this and skim through it, reading only some of the words and hoping that maybe I would get the jist of it ; but this time I read everything... it was a laugh.

  Thanks for the post, and I hope things get better soon for you.

  i admit i have never voted (shame), the last couple of years i have decided to vote but when the time comes i back out.

  i like having the freedom to choose whether to vote or not but i never know who to vote on the day that counts and then i feel uncomfortable at the last minute.. how about you?

  America has failed in many aspects, but lets face it, if the chinks or the Russians were in charge, it wouldn't be any different.

  If an Islamic empire were in charge, the earth would become an international shithole. As much as America has imperfections, God bless them for what they have done in other aspects.

  I dislike much of American foriegn policy...and I loathe American media, TV and so forth. But I do know that through all this, I would like no other country to be number one.

  Besides, ALL YOU CAN EAT FOR 4 DOLLARS AT SOME STEAK HOUSES ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!
