(((Azaria)))
I read what Bebu told you :
When I broach a tough subject with someone with whom I wish to keep a relationship, I try to let them know that the info I've gotten (which now affects my position) is rather upsetting to me as well. I let them know I have been trying to solve it, but have been unable to do it. Invite your mom to see if she can provide an answer for you. She might rise to the occasion, do some asking/research, and actually be affected. Don't dump a lot--give her something provocative and let her do some legwork. Then add more if you can.
and I agree: in fact it did the trick with me: Vivamus kept telling me and forced me to think about other topics.
First I was not happy with it at all - Now there is nothing positives left for me in the Borg - reason why I stopped visiting.
Further, do what your hearth tells you - going against your instincts will even hurt you more.
I wish you a lot of wisdom with your decision.

Reborn, I don't think it would help, by preventing the JW's, I think we would be messed up with another kult - seemingly the right choice when we started. people will allways make mistakes. . But, choosing someone to spend a whole day with ? for example my parents - I want to know who are on some very old pictures - and Brummie ? for he mentioned once that his wife is great: she allways knows what he is thinking before he even knows it....... Loved the way he was talking about her......... CW

I think that studying is just a very big danger for the JW: You will get more information then the JW's are considering appropriate, and getting those information will make you pretty soon an ex-wittness. (look at Vivamus) anyway, good job. CW

How Much Did You Donate?
by shamus inanother member made an interesting post about if you ever "borrowed" from any monies that you collected in field service.. i think it would be interesting to find out how much $$$ did you, that is you donate in a given month?
like, $5,10,15,20, or zero.... that would be to the kingdom hall fund and all!
i have always wondered what other people used to do..... would be interesting to get some feedback on some old' elders, too, and what they found!

One time I gave an amount of 250,-- guilders, after they told us re the hypotheek-rente they had to pay for our building. The next month the amount was the same and they told us that the surplus from last month was sent to Bethel. After that, I did n't give any contribution at all. (and I never received contributions for the world-wide work) CW

If you had the choice...
by JH in.
if you had the choice, would you rather live up to 80 years old, of which you would be healthy 70 years and sick 10 years, or.
would you rather live up to 800 years old, of which you would be healthy 700 years and sick 100 years?.

but giving the possibility of a far better (and may be cheaper) healthcare , I choose for the first 700 years. Life is beautifull I think. CW
