but i have, as many others, followed your husband's story with much interest.
please accept my apology if i am too forward, but i would like to hear your viewpoint of this story.
i too have an intelligent, thinking wife that is still afraid to look beyond the organisation for hope.

since i'm relatively healthy, don't smoke, hardly drink (2 beers a day), and if i base myself on my grandparents and parents age, i think that i should live up to anywhere between 85 and 95. which means i should have another 40 to 50 years of posting here.

my first known ancestorDirck Cornelis 1505-1571 = 66--------his wife Neeltje ca. 1510 - 1570 = 60

So the man in my (fathers) family has an average 67 and the woman 60.
Looking to my parents and grandparents : My mums father 69 and mother 72
woman : 79,5 man 77
that would give me at least another 18,5 year (else my prospect -60- aint good at all since I am 61.)
gina and i were reading over jwd when zach (my 7-yr-old) came in and asked what we were doing.
i explained that i was reading about how a man came to be a jw, and how he managed to get out.
(auldsoul, good story so far!
I would be proud too - great guy - they won't fool him easely
i'm getting a little sick of being taken advantage of.
don't get me wrong there are times when it is a great job, it's probably my ideal job, but it has such a negative effect on me, i'm depressed when i think about going there, i lose practically all of my friday and saturday nights and there are people there that i absolutely detest.
and i'm a keyholder, so for a small increase in salary i get so much extra responsibility and bs over it.
Good Luck.
i keep seeing this post all over the place in here.
repeatedly people say they find it far more interesting.. i know i feel this way too.
i hated studying wt material.
How true Lady Lee,
When I joined this forum, I too made an observation: Forum members spent more time to study the Watchtower then the dubs do.

Funny, you would think that, once free, you would want to forget al that misery as fast as possible, instead all of us are still involved in a way.......

yes Vitty, the avatar is me - at age 2,5
recently I scanned a lot of old pictures from my childhood - brothers-sis and parents and since those pictures are of interest for the whole family - I made 10 CD's and distributed them.
my folks have had one lying round for years so now that im more mature and older i have taken and using a program to put it on the computer.
i have spent all day on it and prob no where near finished.
i have so much more research to do it.
One of my nephew's did a lot of investigations and went back to 1505 at that time the big church in Maassluis has been burned down - no further trails.
We don't had any famous person in the family.
The picture starts with my grandparents, then my parents and all of my brothers and sister with their children...no place for more yet.....
a little girl!
all is well and we are trying to get some sleep.
you guess how well that going based upon the time of this post .
as many of you know, i left my job about 2 weeks ago.
it was a sinking ship, and i'm glad i got off when i did.
well, i still needed money.
good luck

as for your question: the best holiday is'nt doing "nothing" but being busy with other things....
(or something like that)
