I think most mature adults understand that nobody is perfect and that we all make mistakes. My mistake was to be unfaithful to my partner and I'll always be sorry about that.
But as I've said before, nobody deserves to be bullied, harassed and character assassinated across multiple social media platforms simply for being human.
From what I've seen, there's no "mistake." I think Fats is only sorry about the impact it has had on his business.
I've been on this planet much longer than Fats. Somehow, I've managed to "be human" while not engaging or even contemplating the engagement of prostitutes. I've also managed to survive without begging others for money.

I try not to look back at what may have been lost in the years I spent as a JW. I'm happy enough to have gotten out and gained my freedom and a fuller control of my life than I ever had. I can't change the past, I can only live in the present and plan for the future. So I'm happier by doing the latter two and minimizing the impact of those lost years.
Thankfully for me as a born-in, I went into full rebellion mode in my teen years and was completely out by age 15. My parents passed away decades ago, and besides resenting the WT for stealing the happiness from my childhood, I also hate the WT for depriving our family of quality family time. But the damages caused by the WT are what economists refer to as "sunk costs." There's nothing we can do to change what has already happened; we can only "move ahead" (Song no. 63 from the 1970s songbook) by learning from the past and living what's left of our lives to the fullest.

Now it’s not a question of if but when they stumble upon information not convenient to Lloyd and people willing to convey it. The system of fear has been lifted.
This is why there is no merit to the "he has an excellent body of work" argument. There's a lot of dirt in that pig's pen.

He might need that money to pay for the food necessary to support his multiple chins. In my opinion, the financial statements available on the FINA site do not come anywhere close to supporting a 700,000 Euro value for the business. It just looks like more hot air from a disgusting slob.

There is certainly no evidence I am aware of that any book, including COC, has saved "10s of thousands of people . . . from jw." Is that shot glass empty?

Yes, if the facts of your hypothetical were true, it would make COC less valuable because adultery, regardless of whether it's with a paid prostitute or anyone else, has a negative bearing on the credibility of the adulterer. Put simply, if a person is cheating on his wife who later discovers his adultery, the wife will likely never trust her husband to be honest ever again. Why would anyone of sound mind and reasonable intelligence expect an adulterer to be honest with anyone else?
Unlike the slob that you are here to support, I am unaware of any allegations of adultery made against Raymond Franz.

So, after your ad hominem fallacious argument had the same effect as a bad laxative as it didn't move anyone, you're changing your argument to "going through someone's accounts without them there to give an explanation is a total waste of time." It seems to me that your hopeless effort to defend the indefensible is the real waste of time.

What you refer to as "jealousy" is actually healthy skepticism being exercised by folks who left a high-control group that frowns on any form of dissent or skepticism. Given the allegations about his conduct, and his rebuttal, skepticism about his accounts is certainly both healthy and reasonable. It's your right to serve as Lloyd's advocate, despite the disturbing allegations and pathetic response to them. However, your use of ad hominem arguments like "those who ask questions are jealous of him" demonstrates rather clearly that there is no merit to your position.
The publicly-available financial statements do not support your characterization of his activism as "successful." If you're referring to something other than financial success, please elaborate and provide some facts to support your claims.
