by Stand for Pure Worship inthat text reminds me of one of a handful of problems peculiar to the ex-jw community.
second only to the wild beast's internal divisions, is the divided makeup of the ex-jw populace.
you know the one thing that indicates jehovah's blessing upon the worldwide association of kingdom proclaimers, is not only the continued success of the preaching work, but along with it the unity and love amongst the brothers and sisters.

Badly treated by a few individuals? How about badly treated by 4 congregations over a 30 year period?
Yet still I don't make personal attacks on individual witnesses. I just don't believe any more that they are God's chosen people, and what parts of truth they do have, (and every religion on earth is part truth by the way) is spoiled and ruined by over a century of false teachings flip flops, old light, new light, poor light, dull light, wrong light, bad light, lights on the blink and often complete darkness.
Even putting aside all personal experiences (and I could tell you horror stories of the behaviour of the witnesses) it's the teachings themselves that have caused me to lose complete respect and any reverence I had to the organisation and society as a whole. They are no better then anyone else in the word. They drink, they smoke, they lie and steal and lust and covet and abuse and rape and molest and deceive yet they strut around with a air of importance and an arrogance that has become quite unsettling to behold.
There is no true love. There is no true humility. There is no true compassion.
What respect I used to have for the witnesses has dissipated. In my eyes they have the status of dishonest and repugnant second hand car salesmen. .. and before you attempt to label or tag me as some bitter apostate, You should know that I am neither disfellowshipped and neither am I disassociated. I just left one day and did not go back. I was looking for the truth.. I was looking for God, I was looking for Jesus, I was looking for love.
I found none of them there.

I tried to order a new Bible at the hall once and waited for 6 months but it never arrived. When I asked the literature servant why not he told me that one of the elders cancelled my order without ever telling me. They let me line up at the counter twice a week for months and no one told me it had been cancelled.
When I found out I was livid. I went home and stacked up every single piece of literature I had.. about 20 books and Bibles, brought them all to the hall and dumped the lot on the literature counter with he words: "if you don't want me to have a Bible then take all this back too.. I want none of it, you can keep your books"
I stopped reading the societies literature that day.
I used to use an American Standard Bible that my mother gave me to meetings. Reading that one made me feel closer to God than ever the NWT did.
A short while after I quit meetings entirely. I dis-fellowshipped them all with a single axe fell.

the watchtower bible and tract society states, with every fiber of its organization and publishing house, that you should not read the bible (not even everyday), without the holy bible additionally being accompanied by and explained by the watchtower bible and tract societys own publications.. the watchtower society and its witnesses claim that one can not understand the holy bible without the guidance of the watchtower publications.. the statement on the watchtower publishing building in brooklyn is therefore at best deceiving, lacking an under-title stating that one should not read the bible without the watchtowers additive writings.
thus the watchtower publishing house is deceiving (lying to) those who read this statement on their building... the watchtower publishing house is already familiar with explanatory subtitles to what they publicize, among others, the subtitles to the watchtower magazine.. the governing body of the watchtower witnesses (whom abuses g-ds holy name), excluded 4 out of the 7 members of the governing body in 1919, with the double vote by their president rutherford, when the watchtower magazines underscore shifted its wording from preaching the kingdom of jesus christ to preaching jehovahs kingdom.

Grey is the cheapest kind of ink colour to mix.. It's all the left over colours slung together in the same pot§ and stirred to produce this kind of grey.

Did I just read correctly?
I spent over 30 years involved with the JW's and I can tell you from extended and deep persoanal experience that they catergorically do not have genuine love among themselves. The love is totally conditional, artificial and fake. The friendships are a sharade and a great false act, an empty pretense and an insult to the concept of true love that Jesus spoke of.
As an organisation they do nothing for anyone.. not orphans (I know because I was one) or widows as Jesus commanded. The society does no charity or community work what so ever.. they clothe and feed no one. Not even their own.
Jesus identified his true followers by the love they would have for all including neighbours and even enemies, but it's well known that the witnesses teach and practice malicious shunning and hate which is the very opposite of love. All things Jesus never did ot taught.How do you know an organization is up to no good? When it opens an in-house Legal Department.
