If almost any idea can be proved from the BIble how on earth do you decide what you belive in? And does that not just make any and every idea whimsical fancy? Does not then belief itself become ridiculous and pointless?

Dissoi logoi - Jehovah's Witnesses do have the Truth! My Story Part 3
by objectivetruth ini stopped attending meetings over one year ago, and i have thoroughly made it clear to all friends & family that i am opposed to the teachings of jehovah's witnesses, and i cannot support a religion that teaches lies.. i have systematically examined each teaching & practice of the jehovah's witnesses.
concluding that many are not scriptural or logical.. after a year i have very unexpectedly arrived at another conclusion.
the jehovah's witnesses do have the truth.

I know 2 of the Elders on the Ray Franz JC
by James Jackson inwhen i read coc, i was stunned that the 2 elders (theotis french & rob dibble) were on ray franz judcial committee.
i have known these men for over 20 years having done rbc and convention work with them.
they are still elders today which means they were in their early 30's(which is unheard of for a case of this importance to have inexperienced elders to sit on) on this committee.. without revealing myself, i have never tried(but have wanted to), ask them about their on having to judge a former gb member.. then out of the blue, about a year ago, i was mentioning how hard it is trying to get younger ones to volunteer to one of these elders, and he says"this is nothing compared to to sitting on the committee that had to disfellowship ray franz".

I'm wondering what kind of response you think you'd get if you went back to all those that you studied with and tried to reverse what you had taught them?
The response you get is irrelevant. Your not doing it to make points and win prizes. You are doing it to make amends. You sold them a false dream and a lie. It's your duty. It's the only right thing to do. The same zeal and dedication one had in bringing them in should now be used to bring them out. Or at least give them a choice and one hell of an apology.
Not telling them the 'truth about the truth' is even worse then the first deception.

I see you enjoy patting yourself on the back for continuing to serve in a cult.

It's easy to go to someone in private and apologise and shake their hand.
How about these ex-elders now go to all the bible studies they had over the years and undo the false teachings they drilled into peoples minds.
Now that would deserve a pat on the back.

Unless you have been in my situation, it is hard to explain the mindset of a former longtime Elder(21 years), Regular Pioneer (14 years), one was at the top of his game, handling many responsibities on the Circuit and District level, serving on over 50 Judicial cases, including Appeal Committees, various Elder Schools (including Teaching parts in these schools), and even spending a week at Patterson for the COBE Kingdom Ministry School. I could go on but some of you guys are wearing me out!
"Top of his game".. ? And your proud of that? Shameful resume..
I am still very much in Physically and very active you could say. I have been sitting on this for awhile because I do not want to be outed. James J
Even more shameful and cowardly...
I don't get why some here are in apparent awe of you. You should not be here bigging yourself with imaginary bull$%£$! WT qualifications.. you should instead be apologising for the years you have spent contributing to the wrecking and destroying of peoples lives.
Sorry I can't celebrate your hypocrisy.

There are several possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps until it's resolved.
1. Follow the instructions in this support article.
2. Open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and check for unknown or forgotten input devices. Disconnect any USB input devices that you aren't using.
3. Boot in safe mode and test, preferably without launching any third-party applications. If you don't have the problem in safe mode, but it comes back when you reboot as usual, stop here and post your results. If you can't boot in safe mode, do the same. If you booted in safe mode and there was no change, go on to the next step.
4. Reset the System Management Controller.
5. If you're using a Bluetooth trackpad, investigate potential sources of interference, including USB 3 devices.
6. A swollen battery in a MacBook Pro or Air can impinge on the trackpad from below and cause erratic behavior. If you have trouble clicking the trackpad, this is likely the reason. The battery must be replaced without delay.
7. There's a report that a (possibly defective) Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter can cause the built-in trackpad of a MacBook to behave erratically. If you're using such an adapter, disconnect it and test.
8. There's also a report of erratic cursor movements caused by an external display that was connected but not turned on.
9. If none of the above applies, or if you have another reason to think that your computer is being remotely controlled, remove it from the network by turning off Wi-Fi (or your Wi-Fi access point), disconnecting from a Bluetooth network link, and unplugging the Ethernet cable or USB modem, whichever is applicable. If the cursor movements stop at once, you should suspect an intrusion.
10. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine and/or external trackpad tested.

Many here claim to never consider skin colour an issue.. that maybe so. But the world very much does conseider it an issue and we don't live in this forum we all live in the world.
Here's a fascinating doocumantary that looks at the issue.
Whitewashed: Unmasking the World of Whiteness
Using amateur footage collected over the course of several years, the video records the voices of white people reflecting on race, racism, and white identity. For over a decade Mark has been talking to white people about racism and what it is like to be a "white" person. Drawing from those that would speak with him, this documentary shares some of what they had to say.
Here are some of the testimonies: "I don't have any trouble admitting that I'm a racist. I think it's absurd to try to fight with that. I grew up in this society, I was conditioned by it, I think internally in my psyche I have grounded and rooted those attitudes and I see them all the time."
"I don't like being a white man and that's what I am, because I know what I've done, what people like me have done. Part of being white is just not in any way acknowledging what it means to be white. I have a white skin and with that white skin comes along a whole mass of privileges that I have and I don't ask for them, they're just there."
How did the ancestors get turned into "white" people? "You can only be something if there's something else to negate so I guess we became white because there are bunch of other races to set us off. The reason was the assimilation in the United States when lot of European ethnics came over and assimilated for a variety of reasons, primary being to elevate their socioeconomic status."
"So to get jobs, to find places to live, lot of the Europeans altered their last names to sound more mainstream, a lot of them changed the clothing that they wore, foods they ate, so they were conforming to the dominant white culture."
"The reality is that those persons who are white and who are considered white and treated as such in the society by virtue of being white, they had to give up who they really were. All these European ethnics who are not white anglo-saxon protestants had to give up their actual identities for the sake of whiteness."
