Yeah, My 2002 Jetta is Awesome so far. I did own a 88 civic years ago and It ran great. It had over 150,000 when some Dodge Ram totaled it. I also had a Corolla and even though it wasn't the most decked out vehicle it to served me well.

Baptism Nullification Letter
by Balsam ini have heard of one witness who was baptized at 13 getting their baptism nullified.
have any of you tried this and has it worked?
i created a letter for my 19 year old son after the elders of our old congregation kept harassing him, and want him to meet with the judical committee.

Ruth: You may want to double check that they won't announce a baptisim nullification letter like they do the Disassociated and Disfellowshipped. If they do, then your oldest may still not be able to talk to your youngest. Once I realized who you were I read your other posts. I almost cried myself. I remember your son fondly. I remember holding him and your youngest at the hall when they were babies. I wish my parents would come to the same conclusion as you so I could speak to them freely about such things. I didn't understand why you left at first, but now I do. I wish you the best. Let me know if the letter works without causing others to shun you.

I am in my mid-20's, if you are about the same age, I probably know you. I understand if you don't want to say your name right off the bat, so just holler back here if you want.

How Many Here Are DF'd, Disassociated Or Not Worried That They Might?
by minimus ini'm curious as to whether the majority of the board's disfellowshipped.
and i'm curious as to whether or not push came to shove, that you would not be overly distressed if you did wind up getting df'd........as time goes on, i am caring less.

Not disfellowshipped or disassociated. Still report time, although it is a big fat lie. I report one hour every month. I still go to about 1 meeting every two weeks. The only reason I still pretend to be interested is so my parents will still talk to me. I am not worried about being disfellowshipped. I am smarter than they are and can lie with ease. (something I learned growing up in a witness family, if you want to do anything as a kid you have to be a great liar, and so I became one.)

As far as I know now, and I don't have the CD with me. They are more lenient saying that modern counselors can be good treatment, but we need to be very careful not to let them influence our beliefs and never to undergo hypnosis. They still strongly suggest you not see a psychotherapist unless it is extremely necessicary, like bi-polar disorder or extreme chronic depression or something like that. I went to see a psychotherapist and couldn't tell my parents, so it must still be a strongly held belief.
