he is one of those husbands who was never baptized but comes to some meetings and "talks the talk," or at least some of it and professes belief but never goes all in.. i acquired him as part of a surgical team and only found out he was on that team when i went in for surgery.

Turned 21!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow i turned 21 today and for the first time i'm genuinely excited about it.

i got alot of b'day wishes and just said "thank you" instead of trying to explain my way out of it...i felt so special and i even went to the store and bought a bacardi my parents laughed at me...and i don't feel guilty for enjoying the day i was born like i used to......baby steps to mental freedom!!!!

Going on MonsterJob.com...what should I use as a "Title"?

i'm working on my resume and they suggest using a "title" that can sell your skills.

so far, i'm a sophomore in college, meaning i have enough full credits to get in the door.

the thing is i have no experience other than book work (i.e.

Post it as (Entry Level ****) I would put whatever it is in the medical field you want to do in the stars area, i.e. Entry Level Dental Hygenist, Entry Level Nurse, Entry Level Optomologist Assistant, etc.

JWs and Love towards their families

this is something that just popped in my mind suddenly.. but i was thinking about over the years the many comments of jws about loved ones.

for instance, one sister was speaking of her disgust with her children not accepting the "truth".

she gladly tells anyone of what she told them; that if they don't accept it before armageddon that it's too bad.

Welcome Sweetums and Say What. Sorry you guys were given such a hard time. It is so weird to normal people when you tell them your parents/husband/children would rather see you dead than even speak to you now. At least here we can all understand.

when someone new gets baptized do they the information to the tower?

and when someone becomes one of thew regular pioneers do they already know ur baptism date at the tower?

how does it work?

Your baptism date is placed on the congregation records and the overseer can look it up when submitting your pioneer application. As to whether there is a copy of that record at Bethel/the Society headquarters, I don't know.

Wow, that poor little girl has been through a lot. I didn't think she would recover!! What a sweet family.

I must say though, every time I see a birth, I am reminded, I NEVER WANT TO DO THAT!!! I will just adopt if I ever feel the mothering instinct again. At thirty, I believe it has already come and gone.

Now to go look up what RSV is.
