so, i've been in a fade for two years now.
i moved to a new area and never had my cards forwarded, so it's been an easy fade, apart from the family drama that comes with it.. my question is this: .
i left jw's (was a pioneer and elder's wife) because i knew i had never beleived it.

many of us find it hard to understand why we didn't see/read/understand what was right in front of us all along.
we get frustrated with those who are still in who can't see what we have discovered.. i think i just found a similar reaction.. i've been playing an on-line game called luxor.
i've been playing this for months now.
I love Luxor!!
ok, this weekend i had a jw at my door and i sincerely gave a anti-wintess to him during which i did tell him i feel closer to jehovah than i ever have and i still believe in jehovah, just not the society.
my husband thinks i should have said "the lord" or "god" instead, because he thinks it sounds like i was being hypicritical in a way.. my take is that to sound like i knew what i was talking about, and to lessen the likliness of him turning his ears off right away, i should talk in a way he is comfortable with.. hubby thinks it is more beneficial to show you are free from their wording and say what you mean from your learning that jehovah is not god's only true name.. .
what do you say when talking to them if you get the chance?.
I agree with how you handled it. They don't hear people that arent' witnesses use that phrase much so it would have shocked him/her into listening.
my husband and i are fairly tall, we're both 6'.
so my children are tall too, shawn 13 is 5'6", jocelyn 9 is 5', shane 6 is 4'5", and joshua 3 is 3'9".
i know they are all going to be as tall or taller than me and their dad, so in fun i looked up a height predictor online and this is what they predicted my childrens' heights to be when they reach 18:.
I love your daughters name (mainly because it is mine too shhh don't tell anyone). Anyways, I was 5'2" at 8. My mother is 5'7", dad is 6'1". They measured my wrist and said I still had a lot of growing to do. They predicted I would be at least 5'8" and possibly 6". I only grew another inch and 3/4. So at 30, I am a mere 5'4". Freaking recessive genes. I really wanted to be tall.
Did anyone visit the bibilical archeology page? Wonder why they don't have the cuneiform tablets listing Jerussalem's real destruction date on them? ?
so last night i close and lock the back door and front door.

Cats are silly.
i joined this forum on 1may2007 with a promise that i would tell more about myself as time went on.
well, here goes.. i was born and raised in the black belt of alabama in wilcox county.
it is supposedly called the black belt due to the color of the soil, but i have a strong suspicion it is also due to the fact that there is such a heavy concentration of black people in the dozen or more counties that make up the black belt.. my parents were sharecroppers which was simply a form of whitewashed slavery.
WOW, I hope your daughter sees the light soon. I am sure college will help put things in perspective.
specifically christmas appears to be the one holiday to which all others compare.
we either joyfully or sadly recall past christmas holidays.
as i recall, they were controversial in our family even before i was born.. im going to go back a couple of generations in my story to give you a bit of background.
Awww, you poor confused little thing. Easter eggs were the devil.
