  My dog has rocks for friends ( true)

  i am not kidding and i am not talking just little rocks but rocks the size of soft balls.

  she will constantly look for rocks and bring them home and when i try to get rid of her ( friends) like throw them in the woods she can smell them out and brings them back.she sits with her rocks like they are her playmate and chews on them and throws them in the air like a ball.

  Es poor brother was probably wearing a purple suit. We had a brother get counseled for wearing that color suit. His was more Barney Purple, so all of his friends just called him Barney.

  Help with Kittens

  let me start by saying that i am a huge animal lover.

  i have a dog, a cat and i recently lost a cat who was very old.

  yesterday, my fiancee was working on his house and as he was doing "demo work", he found a nest of kittens.

  It did when they started walking around. They will probably be ok, because there is so many of them huddled together and they can hear each others heart beat, but when it is just one or two and they get seperated they will cry and cry until they hear that comforting sound. It is just pitiful. The watch helped when that happed. It still took him a minute or two to calm down. If you can't get one to stop crying, (denying you of sleep) try picking him up and holding him to your heart with something furry or soft around him. That will put them to sleep usually.

  Watching Smurfs because they were demonic.

  Watching HeMan and Shera, where did they get their powers? Must have been the deamons.

  We were counseled to be careful at yard sales and antique stores because we might buy something that was demonized by a previous owner.

  My friend wore a pencil skirt to the meeting. It was well below the knee when standing, but came just above the knee when sitting. She found a note in her bag that read, "Don't you think that skirt is a bit inappropriate?" She never wore that outfit again.

  You can't wear anything fashionable, because that is what worldly people wear.

  You can't have funky hair, odd colors, mohawks, what not.

  NO TATTOOS.

  My mother and father gave me a strong talking to for my belly ring when they found out I had one. I was 23, and had been married for 4 years.

  Having a Pinata at a party. They have since relaxed on that one.

  One sister dressed up as Elvis at a party and preformed an Elvis song. She was counsled because FIRST she should be dressing like a Man and two it was IDOL WORSHIP!!!

  OH GOD, WHERE TO START!!!
  

  Counsled for having in my posesion Poison, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi tapes and listening to a friends Ozzy tape.

  When I was young I had quite the growth spurt. They call it precocious puberty. I was huge for an 8 year old and it happened in just a few months. We weren't rich and my poor mom tried to keep up with getting clothes to fit me but alas, I was just growing too much for them. A CO visited and said my knit tank dress (I wore a lot be cause it stretched) was too tight and unbecoming a lady. So I had to throw on of the only few dresses that fit out. I WAS 8, he shouldn't have been lookin anyways.

  Wasn't allowed to say God Bless You when someone sneezed.

  Wasn't allowed to say Good Luck. I love saying it now.

  Seeing anything that is rated PG-13 or R

  I too could not have any tees or posters with anything on them because it was Idol worship. I have tons of UNC crap now!!!
  Can't Listen To Rap music, how many times were we counseled about that one?

  Can't wear baggy jeans, they are indicitave of the Rap Genre

  Can't sit beside a single person of the opposite sex at the hall unless you are engaged, because it could cause slanderous talk and stumbling. (I got counseled for this one as did many others in my congregation, I later found out that was just a local thing)

  i was reading my local paper this morning and there was a letter to the editor.

  the writer had recently lost a child and the child's obituary was recently printed in our paper.

  the writer said she received a letter with a "jehovah witness tract" called "what help for dead loved ones?

  I have only been on the way out for about 2 years. I stopped meetings completely about a year ago.

  I do say bless you now and Good Luck but I have to really think about it and force myself to do so. Just Crazy. DePrograming. But I still have to watch myself around my parents as not to say either of those.

  My cat tried to kill her kittens once. We found them severely dehydrated and COVERED in fleas. I called the emergency vet and she said give them pedialyte. I ran to get that and an eye dropper while mom ran a kitchen sink full of luke warm water. Then we soaked the poor little things to get the fleas to let go. One died later that night, but we managed to save the other two. Good Luck, sounds like you are doing everything else right. We also wrapped a watch that ticked in a towel to mimic a heart beat.

  Yeah, I hate salespeople. I never really realized the possible association of that hatred with my being a JW. Huh? Well, I figure something out new about my dislikes and likes and how they relate to my past. Freaky.

  I like your name. My mom used to always say "Lucky is an ancient God and we don't call upon the name of false beings only Jehovah" I still have issues saying Good Luck and Bless You.
