  New picture on this weeks Bookstudy

  i'm curious as to why the picture in the new revelation book, on this weeks schedule, seems to be different than the original version.

  does anyone know why?

  it shows completely two different individuals, but the same background.

  Coming to terms with your death - immortality options

  i must say its terribly hard to dredge up any enthusiasm for today or even this week at work, but i dont feel depressed.

  the weather has been so undecided these last few weeks, a little sun, but mostly pregnant clouds breaking water over our heads several times a day.

  its also quite warm and clammy as if we are in a limbo land between seasons and there is little in terms of beauty to redeem it.

  Very concise. I guess I am a 5. When I think of dying I have panic attacks, because I know there is NO way of knowing for a fact what will happen until it does happen. I can't understand why I have this wonderful mind if I can't even figure out if there is an afterlife or not. I just give up and wait out the panic attacks.

  they pride themselves with staying away from worldly people, but they love to dance to music composed by worldly people.

  No more JWs in my family

  the last remaining one in my family is now out.

  she cracks me up though.

  she and her husband split up after 7 years of marriage and she started dating a guy that she met at a tikki hut bar.

  My hubby just laid down some rules to my elder dad

  recently an elder called mike's mob phone wanting to speak to me, the only person who could have passed on that info was my elder dad.

  mike has been waiting for my dad to call him to arrange to see the kids, as he wont deal with me at all.

  so mike said to him i dont appreciate you giving our number out to the elders, we want nothing to do with them or your religion etc... mike than called me and said there was so much more i wanted to tell him.. i get a phone call about 30 mins later, mike had rang my dad and said if you want to see your grandkids then there are a few rules you will need to follow, 1. dont ever give out our personal details (which my dad apologised for and acknowldeged that he shouldnt have done that ) and 2. if you want to see your grandkids you need to speak to your daughter, you can msg her phone or even speak to her.

  Discussion With A Close MS Friend

  last night i had a phone call from a concerned friend who knows we face a jc.

  he means the world to me and is like my second dad.

  he is a loving, intelligent wonderful man (a little opinionated, but aren't we all?

  Are there still 'segregated congregations' in the US?

  in the 70's and 80's i recall conversations with some fellow jdubs who had lived in the southern us.

  they told me that some areas still had segregated halls - blacks would meet at different times or locations than whites.

  is this still true, anyone know?
