  recommend a book

  any book that you like.. i am particularly interested in reading some good non-fiction.. crisis of conscience tops my recommendations, i think it is one of the best books i've ever read.

  but you don't have to recommend apostate books.. currently i am enjoying dale carnegie's how to win friends and influence people.

  i am enjoying it and trying to take the advice to heart - namely, don't be so negative!.

  How many here are Pagan?

  i clean house for a guy who practices paganism and have asked him about his beliefs.

  i want to learn more about it and talk with others who also practice this belief.. a friend here on the forum has given me a few links but i also would like to talk with people about this who practice it.

  the more i learn about it, the more i like it.

  Count me in with the Wiccans!!

  I believe that the spiritual is in us all but how we find that is an individual's choice. If we get to the root of belief, is it not to live a good life and give back to others? "And it harm none, so mote it be" Think about that. "And it harm none"...you have to REALLY think about what you're going to do because your actions could hurt someone/thing. Best just to take care of yourself and those close to you and forget about the rest.

  oh for the love of Athena, I'm babbling again.

  I'm here if you have questions or just want to talk about pagan/wicca beliefs.

  i was a jw never baptized though for 12 years until my aunt was d'fed and my mother said she would not stop talking to her sister.

  so she has disassociated herself at the smae time that is now going on 12 years ago.

  I think it's call "unrestricted free agents"..."trade deadlines"...those things. It's all about the money when it comes to the GMs. *sigh* Good grief, Hull was going to take a pay cut to stay in Dallas. What was Tom Hicks thinking??

  Anyway...I've kissed the Cup...so life is good...

  How 'bout we just go have some margaritas and hang out till training camp??

  franz schubert was an austrian composer who at one time studied with the infamous antonio scalieri.

  those of you who watched the movie "amadeus" will remember scalieri.

  schubert was born in 1797 and died in 1828 at the tender age of 31. even so, his music shows an incredible amount of maturity.
