Serious or casual relationships?
by greendawn inwhat do you believe is better, the traditional serious marriage attitude of total and permanent commitment or the lighter and more casual approach to relationships?

It would be nice to have a seriously casual relationship. Or is that a casually serious relationship? I can never get that straight.
I believe that it is very difficult to find someone that will be able to give the happy ever after forever and ever amen kind of relationship that will last. Look around and see how rare that kind of relationship is on the whole. I think it takes a certain level of maturity to know what you want and to find a match of equal wants. I want my partner to be as happy with the relationship as I am. If it's too much one way or the other....something's not right.
It's really hard to explain and I'm probably not making much sense. If I could find someone looking at life with the same perspective as I am, then I would want to have a relationship with that person. However, what is one man's serious relationship may be another man's casual relationship.
