it's been almost a month since i was let go by my employer of 10 1/2 years...i've been searching the want ads, signing up with temporary agencies and today i stayed and did nothing but clean house.

i got our file cabinet organized, for the first time in 7 years i have an actual filing system at home...then i realized how lucky i am.

i have a roof over my head, a man who loves me...then why am i having a pity party?

I've been out of work for nearly two years. All the money is gone and it's very hard now to keep a positive attitude. I'm signed with more agencies than I care to count. I post for positions three times a day (or more) on a least half a dozen job boards. I get just enough temp work to help but I'm spirally down and fast.

Just keep going is the best advice I can give you. Just keep going.

yeah , my sister and i laughed and cried all day yesterday, because friday she is leaving my home and moving hundreds of miles away.. i am sure you have read wanderlust's love story thread, the love of his life he speaks of is my sister ginger.

she is three years younger than me but for most of my life i was more of a mother to her than our mother was.. it hurts to think that she physically will not be here.

but i am so glad that she has found love and happiness with donnie , again.

i've been thinking back to my j-dub childhood with a sort of sad fondness.... my great-grandfather was the first witness in the valley where he lived and ranched.

he became one after listening to rutherford's radio programs.

i have no idea why and am a bit curious.

Interested in Star Wars toys?

i have a bunch of star wars toys from a deadbeat tenant that left a bunch of crap in my place, some of them i guess is worth a little money and i'd like to just get something to help with the cleanup cost of my place.

i hope this is not inappropriate, i don't care about getting the best price i can and i know some of you guys are fans or have kids who are so i thought maybe i list a few things, give you all dibs on it first instead of listing it and the whole 9 yards.
