My Window Cleaner

the other day i was in my local town and went into a cafe for some lunch.
who is sitting there but my window cleaner and his wife.

They completely shun me, however the next day I get home and find a card through the door saying he has cleaned the windows and can I pay him!!

Are you DF'd or DA'd? If you are sure it was a shun......don't pay him! The fact that he would shun you, then have the nerve to show up at your house to make mony from you is unacceptable. Tell him as far as you are concerned his shunning terminated him from your window cleaning agreement. Make sure he knows he is fired over unacceptable behavior that you will not tolerate. JW's think people have to play by their cult rules and take it. This is your opportunity to take charge of the situation.

You seem to not understand JWN humor or satire against the Watchtower. You do know that image was producted by the Watchtower, right? I find it hard to believe that that is the first time you have seen that image on JWN. You are right.....it is ridiculous, and that's why we use it here to show people how ridiculous the Watchtower religion is.
I do apologize if I have sincerely offended you. However I will not apologize if you are still an over-senitive JW.

The jet is still missing with no evidence at this point found.
There is alot of people & technology searching for this jet and still nothing has been found.
The jet was inspected less than 2 weeks ago and deemed good.
The easiest explaination for the transponder is that it was turned off.
The co-pilot seems to have some shadey character flaws.
The authorities seem to now believe that the jet turned, flew back over Malaysia, and seems to have been over the Strait of Malacca.
The jet seems to have flown over a remote part of Malaysia where it would be less likely spotted.
The jet had enough fuel to make it to Bejing, so could have flown quite a distance anywhere.
The jet & contents are worth alot of money on the black market.
The jet passengers would be worth alot of ransom money.
I could be completely wrong, but barring alien abduction, or being lost in another dimension.....I think this was a crime.
Hopefully, they are found to still be alive or if they did crash & die that the wreakage is found soon.

that eventually led to me drifting away, but this was my personal, singular issue that no one could address.

This was back in October of 1995, but I remember it like yesterday. I had resigned as an elder about 2-3 weeks earlier after just not being able to stand the hypocrisy of the JW religion or it's internal politics anymore. It was Thurday TMS/SM night and I was sitting on the right side of the KH. I just got to thinking about things during the meeting. My final conclusion was nothing really doctrinal.....I just came to the conclusion that this JW routine of service & meetings (along with how JW worship is done), and with all the dysfunction in the religion.....THAT THERE WAS NO WAY THIS COULD BE THE TRUE RELIGION AND JW's GOD'S ONLY PEOPLE. I made a decision that I had to get my kids (age 16 & 14) out now, so that they would have time to be normal before they became adults. I left with my family and never returned again, nor read any Watchtower literature. Both my kids graduated from college, and vaguely remember our JW life.
