These guys are nuts.....I wouldn't rule out anything for the JW's with these guys in charge. They make so many changes so often that I sometimes wonder if they are trying to shock people out of the religion.

JW refuses to provide wedding stationery to Gay couple
by KateWild ini was outraged at this and had to post it.. http://jehovahswitnessreport.com/blog/jw-refuses-to-provide-wedding-stationery-to-gay-couple.
i think she is a hypocrite and i bet she sells her invites to fornicators, or does she ask them if they are having sex before marrige, before she takes their money?.
i was never like this when i was a jw, it's even more disturbing that she is going to ask her elders what to do.

Why does this surprise anybody? It's typical JW brain washing. Need to check with the elders first to make sure Jehovah won't destroy her at Armaggedon if she sells invitations to a gay couple. JW's are never going to join the modern world. If the JW's really had their way......gay people would be right after apostates on the stoning list.

Handing in '' Field Service Report '' even if you're very ill.
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmy mom has not been to any meetings or participated in field service since august 2013. she cannot walk due to all her medical conditions.
she is either in bed or sitting in a wheel chair.. our family hired a caretaker monday - friday to help her eat, take her to the bathroom and sit with her in case she needs anything.
in the evenings and weekends, we have family members take care of her.

Are they serious? Does the WTBTS really need to stoop so low that they make members that are sick and homebound to hand in a Field Service Report? And what if she doesn't hand one in for the month or months at a time? Would they really label her as an "Irregular publisher"?
.
Yep......the WTS is dead serious about this. This is a man-made rule following religious corporation cult. If your mother doesn't turn in a report for 6 months she gets labelled as an ""Inactive publisher".

Expect more Crazy as JW.ORG trims the fat and fills the coffers.
by donuthole inwhen rutherford assumed the presidency of the watchtower society he instituted series of sweeping changes to the teachings and practices of the bible students.
some of these changes were at complete odds with what had been taught previously.
a key example was the elevation of the watchtower society as "god's visible organization on earth".

I believe both "Watchtower" and "Jehovah's Witnesses" will fade away and "JW.Org" will be the official moniker of the WT.
.
Yep.....I agree only a matter of time until this happens. This cult has no loyality to it's nutty history. They are only concerned with their present image. They've already thrown Russell under the bus. Next will be Rutherford, Norr & Crazy "talk to his brown shoes" Freddie Franz. The Watchtower & Awake mags will be gone too. They will deny association with any past WTS Presidents, the Watchtower name, and the name Jehovah's Witnesses. Everything will center around JW.Org and they may simply just call themselves "Christians". The Governing Body can do anything they want with the "theocratic warfare" strategy and the "new light" doctrinal concept. They will end up being a carbon copy of the Mormons with some same JW core beliefs, and whatever else "new light" takes them to. It is disgusting what this religion has done to people's lives in the name of it being the one true religion.

There use to be outdoor congregation gatherings planned, square dancing & talent show pot luck dinners at community buildings, sports competitions against other congregations, softball & basketball games, large weddings, anniversary or going away parties.....then all of these things were stopped because of a fun killing directive that JW's should no longer have large gatherings. The religion started going down the toliet then.

None of their Watchtower BS is true, so now it's all about Watchtower Corporation profit growth. They own all KH's now, so come up with bat-shit crazy "new light" to drive more fringe believers out then sell KH's for mass profit. The remaining loyal-no-matter-what JW's will consolidate and carry on cult business as usual.

JW.ORG signs to be put on all Kingdom Halls! New directive.
by stuckinarut2 inso i have been told that all kingdom halls are to have a large jw.org sign placed prominently out the front..... can anyone confirm this?.

Another sign of the hypocrisy of the JW religion. 20 years ago you didn't even let it be known to others in the KH that you had internet at home. I remember the Watchtower illustration of the computer cord that looked like a serpent. Crazy cult....just another thing that they were wrong about.

This is just ridiculous after all the fun killing this cult has done since the early 90's. It's too late to make JW's look normal, and they have made too many changes in doctrine due to being exposed as an out of time doomsday cult.

He asked if he could stop by my work.
.
Unbelieviable. These JW elders who ask this do not have a clue how inappropriate this is. They are so full of self importance that they don't even consider how it could reflect on the person. Now this is a cult when it's elders think they have to come to your work over their petty rules. If it's a religion then people should be able to come and go from it. It's a cult when they pressure you and track you down because of petty cult policies & rules. What other religion has all these rule books, policies, procedures and letters of instruction? The JW religion is nothing but a religious corporation organization cult.

Where does the Governing Body say "old light" comes from?
by matt2414 inthe governing body claims they've received "new light" from jehovah every time they change their doctrine.
so where did the "old light" come from that's being replaced?
if the old light is incorrect, could it have come from god?

Why all this new light BS? Why can't their Jehovah God just go straight to the final truth and give it to the Governing Body once and for all? There is absolutely no need for all these changes and flip-flops, unless they just come out and admit that the JW religion is just as man made as the other religions they rail against. This whole claim to have "the truth", then claim "new light" changes concept makes no sense. This religion is completely different than the JW religion I left 19 years ago. It's a cult.
