Without Fail...
by mrhhome inon a non-jw related note... my wife put up a bee hive on the back part of our property two weeks ago.
her and my daughter are very proud of it.. there is an old dead tree that needed to come down.
i meant to do it before she got the bees, but circumstance was that i didn't.

On a non-JW related note... my wife put up a bee hive on the back part of our property two weeks ago. Her and my daughter are very proud of it.
There is an old dead tree that needed to come down. I meant to do it before she got the bees, but circumstance was that I didn't. Unfortunately, the tree was old and twisted. Not sure how it would fall when it came down. I did my best to drop it in a safe direction, but without fail, it fell directly for the bee hive.
As my wife tells the story, she was inside the house. She heard a crack of wood, an "Oh Crap!", and a thump. She came out to check if her bee hive was still there.
The tree fell about two feet short of the bee hive on a direct line for it. As we inspected it all, we had a good laugh, and she made me a mojito. Life is good.

About Human Birth- (Which I've just seen) First Child today

no problem with that.
they are mostly loving families but today i experianced the birth of my son.. the emotions of my wife... the pain... the fear... the hope combined with the joy of the birth and seeing my wife reaction when she held the baby was well balanced.. .

The do not call list
by LisaRose ini have posted before about my experience trying to get on the "do not call" list.
despite repeated requests, a phone call to the hall and mailing a letter, and then giving a copy to a jw, they just keep coming by.
i was going to put up a no soliciting sign, then i can call the police on them, but my husband doesn't want me to do it.. so, i decided if they come back i would have some fun.

Are you complicit if you stay in?

those who know the truth but stay in anyways are complicit in actions of the jehovah witness organization.
while i am sympathetic to the very difficult choices that they have to make, their unwillingness to confront the jw enables the organization.. some of you may remember my story.

As I stated in the beginning, I am completely sympathetic to the dilemma many of you face.
At the same time, I find myself wondering. How many people knew my wife's story, thought that the whole situation was BS, and was never willing to take a stand for her? How many people in the organization think my situation is BS but leave me to fight this battle alone? How many more people are going to experience this BS given that the elders know that they will go unchallenged?
My objective is to prevent this nonsense in the future, and if that means putting pressure on those who know TATT but are still in the organization, so be it.

I have decided that I will respond to the situation as it develops.
If they play nice, I will play nice. If they don't, I will punch them in the nose. If I see BS, I will call it as such.
I have also decided that I am not keeping my wife's and mother's secrets from her Dad anymore.
