  Is Ray Franz Great or What?

  this evening i had a nice conversation with ray and we discussed our previous conversation.

  while our previous conversation was remembered differently in certain areas we agreed that we should be peaceful with one another, i apologized for any misunderstanding and decided as a result to remove any negative comments made about him.

  i do believe our discussion was productive and will help us both to be more supportive of one another in the future.

  Mr Bowen that was a wonderful thing to do. I hope that you can likewise calm down with those who for whatever reason can not actively support the silent lambs movement- Lack of active support does not mean that one does not support the cause. Each of us have moved on to varying degrees in our lives away from the WT experience. Due to personal traumas and other issues in each ones private lives one must set priorities that fit those closest to them and those whom they are repsonsible for. By saying "no" or "I can't" in no way means that person is weak or afraid to take a stand.

  Thankfully there are the Bill Bowens out there who can make sacrifices as you have.

  i've been in a strange mood lately.

  i keep thinking what difference does anything matter.

  in a few years we will all be dead anyway and anything we did won't amount to anything.

  Undecided- with all the losses I have had in recent years I have often felt the same way. I keep myself going, however, by remembering that life is a precious gift. We must enjoy this moment and remember that we all have a great impact on the lives and futures of others. Look at the stars, get out and enjoy nature. Enjoy a pet. Take a walk. Be nice to someone- Hold the door open for someone- tell a stranger to have a good day or tell them they look good today- thier reaction will renew your lease on life!

  God Wind I am so dissappointed I believed that you thought I was an asshole on all occassions. Hey, I do have a big heart- it is just hard to get to it- I put on this rough bs exterior when in reality I am nothing more than a wooose!

  Thank you Path- and yes I am waiting for an explanaition on this one- This is a bit dif than Bill said that Ray said- LOL I do knwo where I stand and am ready to defend my postition. AlanF??

  simply stated mr bowen should leave some of his judgements and thoughts to be shared with only his wife and very close friends.

  given the spotlight that he has put himself in he is doing a lot of damage to his reputation and credibility.

  my heart goes out, not to mr bowen- he took this road by choice- but to the abuse victims that he claims to offer aid and support to.

  False statements are wrong. Period. Not only have I not been in a KH in over a decade- I have also been df'd for the same amount of time- in great part for disagreeing with WT policy. Many here may remember that my picture and story was posted on the front page of the Tennessean newspaper earlier this year in repsonse to the watchtower policy of shunning.

  This is a prime example of why many criticisms are running through threads here against Bill Bowen actions. A lie is a lie- whether told by AlanF or anyone else....

  Alan- I presume that you THINK that you know me. Some here do know me. Some aer also aware that my ungly mug was pasted on the front page of the Tennessean Newspaper earlier this year as a df'd jw. I have not stepped foot in a KH in over a decade. I strongly do not agree with WT policies.

  My question to you then Alan- on what factual basis do you make your claim? This kind of "lie" is unsettling in the face of what statements and accusations have been attributed to Mr Bowen. Care to explain yourself on this one?

  Lilacs I will not attempt to write about all the abuse my family suffered at the hands of the WT. I will share that my kissing cousin was abused by her ms jw dad, my uncle. He was slapped on the hand. The issue was not reported. My cousin was labeled a "loose" woman and the trauma lead to her untimely death at age 32. Her and I were both born on the same month of the same year- But I cannot support the "attutude" of Mr Bowen in respect for her memory. As I have stated before- The respect for Mt Franz that I have is not so much due to where he stands on any particular issue- it is because he has carried himself with dignity and as a genttleman thoughout.....
