  my boyfriend and i are gettin pretty serious.

  before we met he was never in a committed relationship and believed marriage was just a piece of paper that helped during tax season.

  then he meets me and suddenly i catch him online looking at rings.

  There are a lot of alarms going off when I read this....

  I don't like to judge hon... But, you did ask for help so here it is...

  I know it's tough expecially falling in love so quickly, but he is NOT the only man in the world, there are better men out there who are strong and capable and will love you enough

  to wait until you are ready.

  Alarm 1.-You've only been with each other for a month. Sometimes people get lucky and find the person of their dreams in a short amount of time, but more often than not it is extremely hard to completely get to know a person in just 30 days.

  Alarm 2-Financial Trouble=Smells bad. really bad, and I would stay away. You could find yourself being taken advantaged of because you love him and he knows that and he will use it.

  ie. "Can you pay my cell phone bill?" "so.. when do you get paid?" He will start with a long elaborate story about how so and so owes him some money and as soon as he gets it he will pay you back. It won't happen.

  Being married to someone who has terrible credit can ruin kill your financial future for years to come and can haunt you even after you've moved on.

  Please, Please be careful.

  Regarding the Pledge of Allegiance....

  at our monthly poker party the other night, things were going well until my brother "went to the bad place" as my friend julie says.

  julie's husband is a second grade teacher and during a discussion about the daily flag salute, he mentioned he has not led his class in the flag salute all year.

  he was never a dub, just doesn't believe in children being forced to recite a pledge at such a young age.

  I'm thinking Ginger would put out quicker. Mary Anne would take a little bit longer, but she may come around after a few Mai Tai's....

  Personally... I'd go after the Professor. I like smarty pants, and anyone that can make a washing machine outta a few coconuts and some palm leaves is a good catch in my book!

  Brother Smith nervously glanced around him....it was so obvious and yet... and yet...He couldn't bring himself to get up and go to the restroom. Doing this would obviously give it away that he was guilty, shamefully guilty and he knew it. His saving grace was the young brother sitting fast asleep to the right of him. That and the buffer of empty seats around him.. it was fortunate that the family of Albanian delegates left before the noon session. He lifted both arms slightly to relieve the dampness in his armpits, and leaned forward slightly in his seat. At that exact same moment he realized that he shouldnt have done that...the burrito he had for lunch was taking revenge on his bowels again and held his breath as the gaseous stench wafted through the air....

  I Don't Watch Television!!!!!

  i'm too cheap to pay for cable.

  there's really not a lot of stuff to choose from that's worth watching for the price.

  free tv sucks the most, reality shows and other mindless garbage that keep making its way to market.

  I rarely watch television because the quality, compared to films, sucks.

  I really like HBO's original series:

  The Sopranos

  Oz

  Deadwood

  Sex & The City

  These are by far the best TV series I have ever seen. You don't need TV to see them. You can't rent them on DVD.

  Yep. I agree. Add Six Feet Under to that list. The new season of The Sopranos finally airs March 17 HBO also has really good Original Movies. -Doodle-V

  My bed is too soft... how do I make it more stiff?

  about a year ago i purchased a nice new sealy posturepedic bed, but i'm afraid that i got a model that was too soft.

  i'm starting to wake up with backaches that go away shortly after i get up and start moving around.. are there any products out there that i can use to make the be more stiff, like what you would find at a hotel?

  I got caught in the revolving door of our office building (it was actually my backpack) and I had to back up to get out. Several of my co-workers were there and all of them nearly peed their pants laughing at me. All day long it was "hey V-watch out for the door next time" and when we went downstairs for lunch it they were like "Better hold the door for V! hahahahahha" *sigh* I laughed it off, but inside I felt like such an idiot. That was two weeks ago and people are still talking about it. It's going to be awhile before I live this down.

  When I was around 6 my mother had to go on a low salt diet because of her blood pressure and stopped using salt when cooking our meals. I missed the salt, so I would eat boogers with dinner.

  LOL! wow.

  I HAVE to get the extra strength anti-persperant because if I don't, my armpits sweat really really bad even if it's not hot. ugh, I hate it.
