WooHoo I won!
by Lady Lee inwhen my contract was not renewed for my job i was a tad upset.
actually i was very upset.
not that they didn't renew the contract because the working conditions had become impossible but because of some of the crap that was going on.they didn't want to give me my termination notice (aka pink slip/record of employment) which i needed to be able to get unemployment insurance.

Yes, be very careful everyone! A fellow poster and I had a very big coincidence happen, and we both gave out a little too much info to each other, and we both felt pretty uncomftroble about the whole situation afterward....
It's okay - we're not freaks, so nothing is wrong - just be extra careful... it was a learning experience for both of us. It is cyberspace, and we could be talking to someone who eats mice for dinner, after all....

Yes! Mine arrived on Monday, this week. I found the part about the governing body rather tedious, and with so many twists and turns it was incredibly hard to all comprehend. I'm up to the part about their double-standards... will be reading it tonite.

Do you remember why the "donation" arrangement came about?
by Jourles inover ten years ago when the society changed their format from a contribution basis(pay us for the literature) to a complete donation arrangement, what were you told as to the reason for making this change?

I remember that they told us why... that it was something to do with the tax laws changing... something like that. My memory is pretty fuzzy about it... I seem to remember that everyone was in a cafuffle about this "special talk" that was being given... would we all be in jail? Is this gog of magog's attack? Yada yada yada. Everyone was kinda let down....
I also remember that they gave demonstrations on how to ask for ca$h, quiet like. I never did when out in field service...
