by quinah inhi everyone i have just joined this forum and wondered if anyone else has heard of the rule that if you are inactive, which i have been for the last 4-5 years, that they have a new rule of you either become active again or you have to disassociate yourself, or they can disfellowship you?
is this correct, and does anyone know if there is a time limit that you can be disfellowshipped say up to 5 years after you stop going to meetings?
please help!

Sorry about the three posts, everyone. My mouse screwed up, and things were a flyin' everywhere! Anyways, welcome to the board!
It wouldn't suprise me if they invented that rule.... they're absolute monsters and would like nothing more than to see us all get DF'd asap. It just shows how self-righteous they really are, and how they act like pharisees.

Thank you so much. I am fine, for now, but you never know when the imbalance will occur again and throw one into the pit. Your poor mom... how dare anyone say that she was wicked. How dare they. No man should judge any other, and yet they do it constantly. I cannot imagine how you feel, being so alone like that. Those self-rightcheous JW's just showed whom has no natural affection.... remember the story of the prodigal son? I am just too angry to type right now.

I, too, suffer from depression. I hate to see you all in so much pain... I can't tell you my stories yet on how I nearly ended it... however, it was a direct result of the borg and their lack of love.

Yeah.... well, did the person get DF'd for taking them to court??? Probably. I wouldn't be suprised... I wasn't allowed to take someone to court over $600.00

An idea for $$$ and a cookbook for Simon's board
by Lady Lee init has been suggested that we have a recipe collection for posters on jwd.. and that idea was taken one step further by suggesting that we make a cookbook with the various recipes provided by the posters here.
all proceeds from the book would go to simon to help support the board (which would be a lot easier than everyone getting a cut of the "profits".
it would be pretty easy to get a collection of recipes and make up some cds.. i um have actually edited a cookbook before.
