i had opportunity yesterday, to peruse the thread entitled, "john 1:1 - good information" and there were some very... ummmm... "intriguing" responses.

DJ, actually I use a number of translations, which for the most part is rather random and yes I still use the NWT at times. Since most translations if not all do indeed have a number of errors, obviously resulting in the errors being carried over to here anyways, which translation is the truest to the source DJ? I havn't a clue myself so I end up using many of them.

AGuest, here are some scriptures dealing with God living in us to also consider:

Joh 14:23

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Whosoever shall receive one of such little children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever receiveth me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

And what agreement hath a temple of God with idols? for we are a temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

1jo 1:3

that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you also, that ye also may have fellowship with us: yea, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ:

If the Father and Son abode in us AGuest as a living temple, which one is the Holy Spirit? If Jesus is the Holy Spirit then what do we call Jehovah in us? Can the Holy Spirit be both Father and Son? Or is the Spirit of Truth Jesus and the Holy Spirit Jehovah's?

To answer your question about "By what means... and whom... did Mary become pregnant? The means was from the Holy Spirit (The Father) prepared a body for his Spiritual Son (Jesus the Son Of God).

Heb 10:5

Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, "Sacrifice and offering you didn`t desire, But a body did you prepare for me;

The whom or where the seed came from for the fleshly body is from King David:

2sa 7:12

When thy days are fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, that shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.

Making Jesus the Son Of David and the Son Of God.

Ro 1:3

concerning his Son, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh,

Ro 1:4

who was declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead; [even] Jesus Christ our Lord,

How do you explain that? If Jesus is The Holy Spirit, then how did The Holy Spirit live in John the Baptist while Jesus was on Earth?

Also consider this verse:

Mat 12:32 "For example, whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the holy spirit, it will not be forgiven him, no, not in this system of things nor in that to come."

I will pray for the answer but some of my prayers have taken awhile before I could hear clearly and understand. Now is not the Holy Spirit Jehovah's? Also consider Jesus prayer to our Father John 17:20,21 "I make request, not concerning these only, but also concerning those putting faith in me through their word; 21 in order that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, in order that the world may believe that you sent me forth."

Where the Son is so is the Father, so by having Christ in us allows the Holy Spirit (Jehovah) to be present. We become Jehovah's temple which has been purified by Christ's blood. Only through Christ's blood are we made clean for the Holy Spirit. The "He" is the Father, Jehovah. Please reflect on these verses by Jesus as well, John 16:13 "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own auhority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 "He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15"All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.

Psalm 22 is a reflection or window into Jesus Death and shows great faith that Jesus had to the end.

"19 But you , O Jehovah, O do not keep far off. O you my strength, do make haste to my assistance. 20 Do deliver from the sword my soul, My only one from the very paw of the dog; 21 Save me from the mouth of the lion and from the horns of wild bulls you must answer [and save] me. 22 I will declare your name to my brothers; In the middle of the congregation I shall praise you."

Jesus maintained his faith, it is kinda hard to think, believe and say you will praise Jehovah name to the congregation if you didn't have faith that through death Jehovah would rescue him. Spiritual Jesus was perfect, fleshly Jesus was not.

Thanks for your feedback and may the Holy Spirit continue to be with you and guide you to the truth about the Father and the Son. I pray that your ears and eyes stay open for the glory of Our Father in Heaven Yahweh through our Lord Jesus Christ. Please continue in what the Holy Spirit directs you in and ignore my comments about the number of scriptures, who am I after all? The Holy Spirit is the true comforter, true friend and ally that is alive and present that can heal our blindess and deafness and can teach us all the truth. Good scripture is 1John2:26:28, better yet 1John2. Rest assured I too find the Bible very valuable. May the peace of our Lord be with you UnDisfellowshipped.

You still havn't answered my question in regards with Jesus Christ having a God above him. I think you think you did but really you didn't. Plus Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and tommorrow isn't he? Isn't that what scriptures says? Isn't that what you said?.. Christ made clear that he has a Father in heaven not that he was that Father in heaven. I believe Jesus, he said he was the Son Of God, not the Father. I believe the Father when he said that Jesus was his Son. You don't.

What is a lie?... A contradiction... an apparent false statement about the truth... Isn't saying the Son is the Father just that?

I asked a question some ways back about who created a computer. . . Well man did, through the free gift what Jehovah gave Adam, the ability to think and choose. This is a godlike quality that allows us to create.

Who created the lie?. . . Not Jehovah but Satan, Satan is the Father of the Lie. Jehovah is the God of the Living and Truth and not of the dead. Satan created death as we know it. So hold on a minute, Jehovah did not create death? Well did he create the computer that you reading this on or did man? Satan is the Father and God of death as well as the lie. To say there is only one God also pins all blame onto Jehovah doesn't it? So watch out what you say, I believe you really don't realize what you are saying. Do realize that Satan does have a God over him as well, a loving God who's name in English is Jehovah who is the Almighty. Now there is only one God that has no God and does indeed stand alone on this. . . and that would be Jehovah.

Jesus said he is the gatekeeper, you can read it in Chapter 10 of John, are you ashamed there he uses that term as well? Aguest only used an expression which was related to a womb of a women which is used in the Bible, something that Jehovah created and fits the truth reveiled in this thread dealing with the Ark, The Womb (Heaven), The Son Of God and the Father reveiled to her by the Holy Spirit. You are actually debating with the Holy Spirit and not myself or Aguest in this matter.

So a few times Jesus quoted 3 whole passages of scripture and inferred some as well, did not Jesus fit his teachings to whom was listening to him so that the simple could even understand things much better then the most learnt? Plus I never said a one scripture limit is what Jesus imposed did I? Why not use Jesus example? I hoping you would have a better arguement and say something like the example of Mathew, Luke or Paul is what you follow.

Beautiful Sister Aguest, I pray you continue to be with Holy Spirit and blessed from our Father Jehovah through his Son JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH. I hope I did not make any more significant errors so that you have to correct me again in this thread. I too feel this thread has run its course and those with ears and eyes will search, seek, knock for true wisdom not in men or women or from us or from anyone but from true wisdom, life's water, the Spirit of Truth which is JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH. May Jehovah be with you. May all get to know the Father and Son of Jehovah, Amen.

Scriptures are clear that Jesus has a God. "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your companions."

How do you reconcile if Jesus is the Alimighty God but then has God over him? Jehovah has made it clear that he stands alone, as in from his viewpoint he is the only God, as in there is none other above him. What is your definition of God? Did not Jesus prayed to his God? That is what scriptures reveil.

Now it is OK to talk about the womb but not the hymen? or about circumcision but not the hymen? Why close your eyes and ears?

Now Jesus example is for us to follow, did Jesus take a dozen or more scriptures and read them out of context or did he use images and parables to show the truth? When Jesus did use scriptures wasn't it usually one? That is the example I do the best to follow and I hope we all strive to do the same.

Don't be too offended, these are only symbols that speaks the truth. It is a language that you could say is universal to understand. The Womb creates or develops life while the hymen is the gateway into the world or into the womb. Jehoveh creates and that is passed through Jesus, this does give credit to Jehoveh for all creation which I see is more in harmony with the scriptures then what I put out. I said Jesus was the womb of the women which upon "Holy Spirit" revealation is not the truth, when Jesus is married to the annointed, the annointed will become the womb of the women while Jesus becomes the Eternal Father, See Rev 19:7.

The article has very good insight, it sadens me that many will follow, obey and worship an organization that aligns itself from the Bible's prospective to Satan.
