  Why do animals die?

  as an animal lover, i have some questions jws have never dared to breach (according to a search of jw publications).

  if humans die because of inheriting adam and eve's sin, why do animals die?

  were animals created imperfect?.

  If humans die because of inheriting Adam and Eve's sin, why do animals die? Were animals created imperfect?

  A secondary question is: If animals are indeed programmed to die, why are they often born with defects or succumb to premature death because of disease? Are not these same conditions listed as symptoms of imperfect humans?

  The prince of this world is Satan. In the garden two choices was presented, life and death. Death was represented by Satan while Christ represents life. This world belongs to Satan and the things in it. The Bible states Jehovah created the Garden of Eden in the Bible while chapter one of Genesis uses 'elohiym (el-o-heem') which many Bibles translate into God but the meaning may mean (plural)
  

  1. rulers, judges
  2. divine ones
  3. angels
  4. gods

  Inside the Garden of Eden Jehovah created, who created outside the garden then? The world we live in? Then again who is the father of death?

  Adam made a choice which lead us to inherit death, a world of death we took beholding good and evil, outside the garden of eden.

  What did the Apostle John mean? "Young children, it is the last hour..."

  after the destruction of the temple in jerusalem in 70 ad and masada, the last jewish stronghold in 73ad, it would seem that all of jesus' prophecies regarding jerusalem's destruction would have been fulfilled.. if you have a nwt bible, notice that no bible writers other than john actually wrote anything after 65ad.. the christian community began to flourish some years into paul's missionary activity, so much so that paul stated, "the good news has been preached in under all creation" (i forget the exact scripture).

  twenty-six years later, the apostle john wrote the at 1 john 18, "young children, it is the last hour, and just as you have heard that antichrist is coming, even now there have come to be many antichrists; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour.".

  what specifically was john talking about when he mentioned, "the last hour.

  What specifically was John talking about when he mentioned, "the last hour." The last hour of what? A time period? Armaggedon? Or another tribulation.

  The last hour of the day before darkness befalls, Christ brought light, AntiChrist brings darkness.

  Questions about Rahab....

  my sister used the example of rahab as a source of comfort to her.

  you see she believes that by her faith that perhaps i will somehow be saved during armaggedon as rahab's family was spared the destruction of jericho.

  i told her that i did not recall any support for that belief from my time in the organization.

  I am wondering if Noah's familiy was saved indeed through Noah's faith but also the need for Noah to have helpers to make it to the new world? Kinda hard to take take care of all those animals all by your lonesome self I would imagine.

  Anointed Class? What Anointed Class?

  please, take the time to read this:.

  the wts teaches that only the anointed 144,000 seen in revelation 7 will enter heaven (the "anointed class"), while the remainder that are not annihilated (the "other sheep") will live forever on earth in paradise.

  however, the bible poses some irreconcilable difficulties with this idea.

  i was talking with a jw friend and he said that they believed they would live here on earth forever.

  he told me a verse in psalms were it says "...the meek will inherit the earth.

  " for those who believe in heaven, what does this verse mean?

  Why is the NWT the ONLY bible that translates this word as spirit Of the four bibles I have on hand and 27 on CD. ROM none translates as spirit --H7306 ruach roo'-akh Strongs; A primitive root; properly to blow, that is to breath; only (literally) to smell or (by implication perceive (figuratively to anticipate, enjoy):-accept, smell, X touch, make of quick understanding.

  ellderwho, here is the Basic English Bible rendering, the NWT is not the only Bible:

The same word Ruwach is used in 3:19 as well as verse 3:21. The interpretor decides how to render the passage, it is clear to me what Solomon was talking about.
