Health insurance on the other hand, you do NOT have a CHOICE, you are mandated to purchase health insurance. That's why it's unconstitutional because the madate takes away CHOICE.
I agree that the auto insurance thing is not an exact analogue to health insurance, but EVERYONE gets sick. EVERYONE wants health insurance. I call bullshit when people claim to be upset by this because they don't want to have health insurance. BULLSHIT I TELL YA!
here is a strange premise.
god speaks through you, but, you make errors.
when your errors are pointed out it means you have been blessed!.
Nice job...thanks Terry
rep. john dingell (d-mi), the dean of the house of representatives for being the longest serving member of the body (he was first elected in 1955, succeeding his father, rep. john dingell, sr.), made an amazing admission during a live telephone interview with detroit wjr news/talk 760 radio talk show host paul w. smith on smith's show monday morning, march 22, 2010. the night before, dingell had been a featured speaker at the democrat congressional leadership victory press conference after obamacare passed the house.. in response to a question posed by smith, dingell said:.

we are bringing it to a halt.
And why not?
Dude.... WHAT THE $*#! do you think this health care reform is about?
I weep for America.

Make the Health Industry honest and the headaches about healthcare will stop.
Wow, pure genius. Where were you when they were drafting up health care legislation?

So you're willing to trade your freedom for control by the US Government? Despite of the fact that you made a decision to wrestle control of your mind from a JW cult and be free from it. But turn around and tell the US Government that you're willing to give up your control and freedom in exchange for a health insurance?
So we had complete freedom before health care reform and now suddenly we are all slaves to a socialist government? Get real.
You trying to draw an analogy to the JW cult is weak and tired.

No, but I also don't like my arm in a wringer being told I will be fined and face jail if I cannot afford the premiums.
You mean like car insurance? It is against the law to drive without it.
If you can't afford health insurance, which from your other threads seems to be the case, don't worry, you will get it either for free or pretty damn close to it.
The hypocrisy is palpable. You bitch about not getting welfare and then you bitch about health care reform. You don't see a conflict there?

BTS, you say a lot but I see no facts. Nothing wrong with opinion, but I think you are overreacting.
...ObamaCare raise taxes...
Let's see. 0.9% medicare payroll tax increase if you make over $200k/yr. 3.8% capital gains tax increase on investments if you make over $200k/yr. 40% tax on 'cadillac' insurance plans starting in 2018. 10% tax on tanning salon visits.
Which affects you BTS? How about you, Yiz? You go to the tanning salon much?

Then you see what the punishment will be if you decide to go without the forced mandate of health insurance.
Yiz...honestly...please answer me on this. Do you really want to go without health insurance? REALLY???? Didn't think so. So what you bitchin' about?
And you DO realize that the only way to eliminate the 'pre-existing condition' bullshit on health insurance is to require everyone to always carry insurance, right? Is that so hard to figure out?
