I'm also skeptical about brain tumors being causes by cell phones.
Yeah. The electromagnetic radiation from a cell phone is not ionizing; it doesn't damage cells or DNA. Good point about hands.... lol

the news stories are reporting that the epa has proposed a tax on cows and other farm animals.
the tax is $175/cow (amounts for other animals are lower).
the reason is methane gas, a greenhouse gs.. the price of beef and dairy is expected to rise dramatically.
This seems so ridiculous. Wouldn't the methane released by cows be environmentally "neutral"? Sort of like the carbon dioxide we release with each breath is neutral?
(I understand fossil fuels are not neutral because burning them results in a large amount of greenhouse gasses that have been trapped for eons.)
i just did and it lowered my bill from $116 to $79 per month for a year... and i got more channels.
over the year i'll save $444.
not bad for a quick phone call!
Good tip... we have Charter up here and while I love their service, you have to put a little effort in to get the discounted prices.
Our cable bill is $225/mo with discounts...but we have every channel (including about 50 HD channels), two HD DVRs, telephone service (with free long distance), and 20 megabit Internet service.
We have gas....never really used charcoal. Am I missing something wonderful?

Because the age at which the MMR is administered falls right into the range when the earliest signs of autism can be manifested, for a certain proportion of the population the two events could coincide.
Yep, that's what seems to throw a lot of people off. A definite red herring. It's understandable that some might conclude there was a possible connection, so it was worthy of investigation.
The article points out that Jenny McCarthy's grandmother admits Evan's (Jenny's son) symptoms were apparent before the MMR vaccination as well, although Jenny claims it was right after the MMR was administered.

People have totally forgotten how many children would die from infectious disease only a few decades ago.
Exactly.
With our son we have followed the recommended vaccination schedule. The article makes a point that spreading out vaccinations can actually be more risky, although it didn't exactly say why. I want to look into that more...

I have no idea what's caused Joshua's autism
No one knows exactly what causes it at this point, but it seems to be a combination of genetics and possibly some environmental factors.
Vaccines have been shown to not be linked to autism time and time again. It's a shame that some celebrities and others get on this anti-vaccination bandwagon and ignore actual facts.

Average IQ is 100. I weigh more than that, so I'm good.
