  WHY Doesn't The WTS Observe The Resurrection?

  i never got a real answer about this when i was a jw.

  the only explanation that i ever got was that jesus said to "do this in remembrance of me" meaning the taking in of the wine and unleavened bread.

  he never said "not" to observe his birth or his resurrection.

  Exactly. Just listen to their everyday conversation. They talk about the organization more than they talk about god.

  I realized this last Sunday, when I meet up with Beans at a coffee shop and we spent a wonderful 90 minutes together.

  Coffee shops are ok if you want to disrupt JW field service? breaks on Saturday mornings. But in order to fully receive the benefit of Holy Spirits you need to go to a bar.

  They still Worshipped Jehovah how he outlined it to them.

  Too bad the watchtower doesn't do the same. Instead they teach "commands of men as doctrines".

  To name a few:

  No beards. Monthly field service reports. Unscriptural positions such as "pioneer". Secret kangaroo courts judicial committees. Persecution of brothers? who, out of necessity, go back to school. No 2 door cars. Coverup of child abuse. Sanitizing their history. False prophecies. NGO membership with the UN.

  Actually, by leaving the watchtower I was being obedient to theocratic direction?. My last meeting was the "special talk" in Apr. 2003. The PO gave the talk, and in it stated that true christians should get out of any religion that has political involvement because such a religion is part of "babylon the great". With its UN involvement, the watchtower definitely met that criteria.

  what you fail to realize that being APART of the Congregation was a requirement by God as part of our worship to him.

  God requires me to be part of an organization that protects child rapists? If that's true, then I deem him unworthy of worship.
