I guess I'm a collecter. I'm up to 6 computers now. I'm running out of room on and under my desk.

Once my ex and I were out of town and, like good little dubs, decided to go to a meeting there. We looked for the local KH in the phone book and went, only to discover that it is now a Pentacostal church. So we phoned the hall asking for its new location so we could attend. The "brother" that answered the phone refused to disclose the location and refused to get an elder for me to talk to, so we ended up missing the meeting.
Being a little pissed about this I wrote a letter to Bethel about it. Instead of answering me directly they gave my name, address, and phone number to the elders in that town, and one of them started calling me and writing letters. I was seriously pissed about that.
No wonder people write letters anonymously.

does the governing body have any love for thier followers?
looking at the latest wt study articles the message loud and clear: .
"get to work you good for nothing slaves,, and sell our books".
*** Rbi8 Luke 17:10 ***10
So YOU, also, when YOU have done all the things assigned to YOU, say, "We are good-for-nothing slaves. What we have done is what we ought to have done."
And after all the books are sold one can boost his/her self esteem by reflecting on the above scripture.

for a stinking head cold??
can't breathe, can't hear, eyes are sore.
the girls at work today were saying i had "man-flu" and all men get it.
Bloody viruses!!! You've got to be aggressive, man! Kill those buggers before they overtake you completely!
I recommend plenty of single malt scotch.

when we were in the organization, i noticed that some persons wanted rules.
needed them!
there are people in society that also feel secure when they have stricter rules than not.
Rules are great, especially when they're made by me and followed by everyone else.
I was selective about which rules I followed as a JW. I generally tried to follow the course of common sense. If elders tried to "counsel" me or "readjust my thinking" I'd hear them out, but most of the time I'd disregard what they said because it was either not based on the scriptures or made no sense.

hi, i'm on my "spiritual search so i want to see what "religion"/non religion you choose and why.
for example: are you christian?
pagan?
Is that a picture of your bird? I have two Umbrellas myself.
The avatar was created from a pic I found on the internet, but I got my Umbrella in January. I love her to bits!
I have a pic of her here: http://www.network-innovation.net/images/bird.jpg

tuesdays meeting had a part about the upcoming summer convention.
alot of q n a about how to dress, to wear your lapel at all times, to be clean, to not eat out bec the worldly vendors would be upset that they are not allowed to sell food inside the arena, to watch your language, conduct at the motels, to walk quietly, to not be in the halls during the sessions, informal witness at every opportunity etc.
then this man comments and says, "what other religion would clean up the arena before and after a convention?
The brother said that this would introduce a worldly element to the convention that is unnecessary and could damage the spiritual paradise.
If they really believed in their own teachings they would consider it a "good witness" to the people who would be working at the concession stands.

when you were before a judicial commitee for whatever reason...did they try to get you to see the error of your ways and thus save you from destruction at the big a...or were they just happy to let you die.. .
i have a theory that goes like this...if you are sorry they think that you are not and df you...if you are not sorry they make an attempt to try and save you because its a kind of feather in their cap.. .
i was sorry...so sorry i thought i deserved to be df...and said that i expected to be..and they later told me i said i wanted to be df...which i didnt..(i was a mental and emotional wreck on the night of the jc although i tried to portray otherwise)....but even if i had, surely they had some responsibiity to try and 'readjust' me.. .
No attempts to save me. I'm sure they were glad to be rid of me.

I spent the better part of my life searching for god, believing in god, praying to god, blah, blah, blah. It's caused nothing but pain.
I'm done. If there's a god that has any interest in me he knows where I am. But I'm not prepared to waste the rest of my life pursuing someone who obviously has no interest in me.

I am so tired of this MAINTAIN THE IMAGE talking and OTHERS ARE WATCHING US.
It's all about appearances with them. They put far too much importance on themselves. Most people are NOT watching them. If they all died tomorrow most people probably wouldn't even notice, or care.
