  i have recently received this letter.. can anyone give any help or advice to this lady.. i have left off her address as i have not got permission to from her whether or not to pass it on.

  she uses a "btopenworld" address so i presume she is in britain.. if any of you do have advice to give please write to me at: [email protected].

  If she is in Britain the comments above can be used as how being brought up in a controling environment as a JW will violate her human rights to freedom of expression under the European Human Rights Act. The statement issued by the judge mentioned in the link I gave above could be proof of this to the Judge in the divorce hearing.

  the stickers aim to provide light relief to smokers

  a uk website has started selling stickers to replace the large black and white warnings, such as "smoking kills", which dominate packs.

  These stickers would make me think about it more. People pay no attention to the warnings, but if they see something humourus it sticks in there minds so will have a bigger impact.

  So i promised him if that happens we can just excuse ourselves and leave. He said "lets not be hasty, we could just hang around to be polite,"

  however, it appears to have been effective, as i have not heard a peep from anyone at bethel or the local elders either.

  from our point of view, we are now free of the entrapments of the watchtower cult, and i feel that it is important to share this with those of you who may need an alternative to the two "official" methods of leaving: disfellowshipping or disassociation.

  When I asked about people who'd writen to bethel, the general consensus was that it took at least three months to get a reply. you said it was two months since you sent this letter, so there is still time to get a reply. There would be no announcement until the legal department decided what to do, the same as a disfellowshipping announcement is not made until after any appeals are made even though this may delay it a while.

  Any ex elders out there who would now how they would react to such a letter?

  Dub cars unattended

  it's the district assembly for those in my congregation today.

  this morning i saw about 20 dub cars parked in a public parking lot.

  they left their cars there and took the bus to go to an assembly.. .

  How about attaching apostate bumper stickers, preferably where the can only be seen by the car following them out the car park....

  I'd be careful. People can be very protective of their cars, and will probably already be p***** off at having to spend all day at the convention.

  So my parents and my ex both getting their respective PO's to call the PO in my hall, as well as them both writing a letter to th CO, complaining about how things have been handled since I was DF'd isn't really going to help my case to get reinstated....? Its the CO's visit very soon, I expect it all to kick off then!
