It was to be handled the same as a person flashing in a public place. 1. If it was a one off instance then it was UNCLEANESS and could be handled by just 2 elders and brushed under the carpet
So at the next district assembly if I streak across the platform I'll be ok as long as it is a one off and not a practice? Interesting....... sounds like a plan!
the 'flock' book (elders manual) makes this quite clear and upon arriving at your judicial hearing one of the first questions you will be asked is whether you have any recording/transmitting equipment with you.. however, most jw's will have never seen - or even heard of - the 'flock' book.
do a search on the wt cd on recording meetings and you will see that it all pertains to the recording of meetings at the kingdom hall and conventions and that any brother wishing to make such recordings is free to do so so long as the recording equipment is not attached to the society's equipment.
the one question of propriety that is raised has to do with recording prayers.
I'm in the market for some recording equipment for something that could be coming off soon...... Anyone know the best place to get hold of some in the UK? I couldn't really justify paying out a lot of money for just one use, but then again I want to make sure that it is a quality recording so I can use it afterwards. Anyone know any cheaper models that work particularly well, or where I can hire any higher quality stuff? I promise to post the transcripts....

Elders have to be WT men, or they would be removed for going against the organisations direction. And being WT men they would put their faith in Jehovah to sort out any wrongs in due time, and in the mean time follow the WT direction. Any who go against this would be removed/step down because they felt they could not do what was asked of them. So to me, any elder who has served for a long time would have to be a law-enforcer or they would not have kept their position.

Movies and TV production companies have similar guide books to keep their story line consistant, and series and sequals reference their past scripts and story boards for continuinty. I wonder if the WatchTower has a department for the same purpose.

I would normally go out on a Saturday night, but I start at work 6am Sunday morning. I have been off for the last 2 weeks though. I work every other weekend so I can't really get into a routine but I just enjoy not having to rush round, get up early for the meeting etc.
just thought i'd let you'll know that today is my 34th birthday.
i recieved loads of gifts which my kids helped me open (i think they were more excited than i was).
i've been noticing a few grey hairs showing recently and its becoming more of a struggle to keep my waist size down.
